| Rice blast is one of the most serious diseases which damage rice production, the annual rice yield losses is severe. In recent years, this problem was particularly prominent in many developing countries. Some E3ubiquitin ligase, as positive/negative regulator, involve in the regulation of PAMP-triggered and effector-triggered immunity in plant. In this paper, through the identification of OsPUB57transgenic lines and the spray inoculation of these lines, we suggest that OsPUB57is a negative regulator in disease immune pathway, mediating a negative regulation on rice blast resistance. By the study of dark induced leaf senescence of the OsPUB57transgenic plants, we found that OsPUB57probably negatively regulate blast resistant by inhibiting leaf senescence. The flag22and chitin triggered PAMP suggested that the negative effect of OsPUB57is inhibited at3-6hr during PAMP, and this inhibitory effect may be beneficial to the rice pathogen immune response. Through the yeast two-hybrid cDNA library screening and the verification of interaction between OsPUB57and PIPs, we identified two PIPs:PIP10and176. By now, the construction of over-expression and RNAi vectors of these two genes have been completed, and the rice transformation is started. |
