This thesis simulates indoor vertical infiltration experiment to study infiltration discipline of aluminum dross mixing with soil. The experiment deals with three kinds of density(1.1g/cm3,1.3 g/cm3,1.4 g/cm3) and five kinds of mixed ratio(1:0, 1:10,1:5,1:3.3,1:2.5,1:2) by horizontal comparison and the longitudinal comparison. During the experiment, making a discussion on infiltration rate, cumulative infiltration, and wetting front is given. At the same time, the experiment makes use of Kostiakvo empirical formula, generic empirical formula to fit test data, aiming at finding the discipline of the coefficient of determination. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Infiltration rate has a negative correlation with density. In the average infiltration rate, aluminum dross mixed with soil of the density of 1.1g/cm3 and the mass ratio of 1:2 has maximum values and aluminum dross mixed with soil of the density of 1.4g/cm3 and the mass ratio of 1:0 has minimum values. The pure aluminum dross has the shortest time to reach steady infiltration. The maximum stable infiltration time is 2 times the minimum steady infiltration time. (2) The two kinds of infiltration models have a good description in the infiltration rate and time. At the initial infiltration stage and steady infiltration stage, two models have a slight deviation. In total, the general empirical formula is better than Kostiakvo empirical formula in the fitting.(3)At the same density, aluminum dross mixed with soil of mass ratio of 1:2 owns the largest cumulative infiltration, the number two is pure aluminum dross, and aluminum dross mixed with soil of mass ratio of 1:2 owns least cumulative infiltration. So its infiltration rate decease as aluminum dross mixed with the soil. The three kinds of density curves have two turning points. Compared with the cumulative infiltration of 1.1g/cm3, the cumulative infiltration curves of the two kinds of density (1.3g/ cm3,1.4g/cm3) are relatively flat and close to the same.(4) At any time, there is a discipline in wetting front, which is that the density of 1.1g/cm3 has a maximum value, the density of 1.4 has a least value, the density of 1.3g/cm3 has a middle value. (5) The wetting fronts of the density (1.1g/cm3) have a little difference, and the wetting fronts of the density(1.3 g/cm3,1.4 g/cm3) have a large difference. (6) By making use of spss19.0 to make a nonlinear regression analysis of the measured data of wetting front running distance, we find that R2 is more than 0.950, it has a higher fitting.
