In this paper, sophia (Descurainia sophia) as receptor, cotton as donor, wheat as control donor, used artificial incubator seed germination experiment method, studied the seed germination rate, germination energy, germination index, down hypocotyl length, seedling biomass and other indexs of sophia under different concentration queous extracts of wheat and cotton with different parts (roots, stems and leaves), explore inhibition effect differences of different parts aqueous extracts of wheat and cotton on sophia seed germination, to provide a theoretical basis for sophia prevent development in the fields of biological technology. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Under the different parts (roots, stems and leaves) of wheat and cotton aqueous extracts with different concentration condition, the seed germination and seedlings growth of sophia affected inhibition in different degrees, and the inhibition effect showed gradually uptrend with increasing of extract concentration.2. The allelopathic effect coefficient of stem aqueous extract of cotton and wheat were significantly higher than that of leaf and root.3. The avreage value of comprehensive effect coefficient of wheat’s stem aqueous extract was higher than 50%, but its leaf and root aqueous extract treatment have a lower avreage value of comprehensive effect coefficient.4. Among cotton each parts aqueous extract treatment, the avreage value of comprehensive effect coefficient of its stem and root aqueous extract treatment were 60.597%, 82.891%, Respectively, but its leaf aqueous extract treatment showed a lower avreage value of comprehensive effect coefficient.5. The strong order of inhibition of wheat and cotton each parts was stem> root> leaf.6. There were expressed significant different inhibition between wheat and cotton each parts aqueous extracts on seed germination and seedlings growth of sophia. Overall comparison, the inhibition effect of cotton each parts aqueous extracts on on seed germination and seedlings growth of sophia was significantly higher than wheat. This research preliminary proofed that wheat and cotton cultivars (used in this experiment) contain a certain amount inhibitor of sophia seed germination and seedlings growth, the cotton plant different parts has a significant inhibit effect on sophia seed germination and seedling growth compared with wheat plant different parts; among them the cotton stem aqueous extracts showed a highest comprehensive inhabit effect (82.891) on sophia seed germination and seedling growth, which has a large research potential on developing of sophia seed germination inhibitors.
