In view of the scarce water resources in Southern Xinjiang, Jujube irrigation methods lag behind, irrigation water use efficiency was in low level, at present the quality of Jujube is uneven. The Gray Jujube trees of 10 years old in Aksu were chosen as test material. Considering irrigation quota and dripper discharge to carry out different field irrigation trials on Jujube, four treatments were carried out under different irrigation quota and dripper discharge(the irrigation quota of the treatment 1 to 3 was respectively 22.5 mm, 30 mm and 37.5 mm, dripper discharge was 3.75L/h, the irrigation quota of the treatment 4 was 30 mm, dripper discharge was 2.0L/h). Studied the influence of the water consumption of jujube trees, the jujube physiological index, yield, water use efficiency and quality under different irrigation quota and dripper discharge. Comprehensive above index to get a optimal irrigation quota and dripper discharge that can get good quality, high yield and save water for the Xinjiang red jujube industry health, sustainable development, and increase production to provide theory basis. This research has achieved the following results.(1) The water consumption was increased with the increasing irrigation quota, but rise extent was gradually decreased. When the irrigation quota of two treatments were 30 mm, the water consumption of big dripper discharge treatment(q=3.75L/h) was bigger than that of small dripper discharge treatment(q=2.0L/h). The treatment of 30 mm irrigation quota and 3.75L/h dripper discharge was the most suitable irrigation treatment, its soil water content was between 55.3% and 100% of field water capacity.(2) The fruit set percentage of Jujube under different irrigation quota could not be reached significant difference at the a=0.05 level, but that under different dripper discharge could be reached significant difference. When the irrigation quota was 30 mm, the fruit set percentage of Jujube was the biggest. At five times before irrigation, the value of difference between leaf temperature and air temperature was between 1.75~2.10℃, it floated little. The cumulative value of difference between leaf temperature and air temperature was the least When the irrigation quota was 30 mm and dripper discharge was 3.75L/h. The correlation coefficients between cumulative value of difference and yield was 0.98. Studies suggest that leaf- air temperature difference could be a diagnostic marker for irrigation.(3) The colouring of Jujube was the ideal crimson when R/G ratio was greater than 2.22.The coloring was better with the further increasing of R/G ratio. The coloring was better at harvest when the small irrigation quota was 22.5mm and small dripper discharge was 2.0 L/h.(4) When the irrigation quota was 30 mm and dripper discharge was 3.75L/h, Yield, water use efficiency, fruit weight, edible rate and commodity rate had reached a peak value. It showed that the treatment of 30 mm irrigation quota and 3.75L/h dripper promoted the yield and quality of Jujube.Combined with farmers’ production experience and comprehensive yield, quality, water use efficiency etc. index, the trial treatment of 30 mm irrigation quota and 3.75L/h dripper was optimal. It recommends that irrigation quota of red jujube is 30 mm, dripper discharge is 3.75L/h.
