Studies On Quality Features And High Production Of Yuyan Series Varieties

To study the characteristics of Yuyan series varieties, show the features of full aroma tobacco, the comparisons was conducted in Xuchang Xiangxian in 2015 among Zhong Yan 100, NC 297 and Yuyan series varieties( Yuyan 6, Yuyan 7, Yuyan 9,Yuyan 10, Yuyan 11, Yuyan 12 and Y8126) to eva-luate the quality, economic quality and resistance. In addition,the study of droudht resistance between Yuyan 12 and Zhongyan 100 was carried out in the third living area of Henan Agricultural.The results showed that there are significant differences in quality, production and resistance between different varieties.1.The apparent quality of Yu Yan 6 and Yu Yan 12 were better. Yu Yan 12 and Yu Yan6 had the highest sugar content. Yu Yan 11 had the highest nicotine content. The potassium content of Yu Yan 6 and Yu Yan 9 were relatively high. The sensory quality and the full aroma level of middle leaves of Yuyan 12 was the best. And the sensory quality and the full aroma level of upper leaves of Yuyan 10 was the best. In general, the middle leaves of Yuyan 12 had good quality and the upper leaves of Yuyan 10 had good quality.The two varieties can show the features of full aroma.2.In the grouping period Yu Yan 6 grew best. In the squaring period Yu Yan 7 grew best. In the doming period the leafe number of Yu Yan 9 was the most and Yu Yan 7 was the least. The production of Yu Yan 12 was the highest and Y8126 was the lowest. The output value of Yu Yan 10 was the highest and Y8126 was the lowest. The proportion of superior tobacco of Yu Yan 10 was the highest and Yu Yan 7 was the lowest. In general, Yuyan 10 has best production,output value,proportion of superior tobacco and good high yielding.3.Yu Yan 11 had a very high resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Disease and Tobacco Etch Virus Disease which had been found in Wangluo Xiangxian. While Y8126 could only resist one of them. The drought resistance of Yu Yan 12 was much higher than Zhong Yan 100.
