If the spray system still remained the traditional spraying method to quantitative the spraying rate, this method could not achieve the perfoamance of the real-time spraying and precision spraying. It not only wastes the pesticides, but also pollutes the environment. The shiftable boom sprayer was invented by Nanjing Forestry University. It can transform according to the targeted plant growth status and spray the pesticide more accurately. This paper studied the independent flow distribution system of shiftable boom sprayer which needs to control the switch of nozzles to control the spraying time and control the flow rate of nozzles to control the spraying flow rate. And this system can guarantee the independence of the flow rate of these nozzles and each boom of the spray booms. And it also can reduce the pressure fluctuation in the process of the flow rate changing. In order to achieve this goal, this paper designed two sets of scheme through the use of the electromagnetic proportional valve and solenoid proportional pressure reducing valve. And then the paper used the software named AMESim to model, simulate and contrast. According to the results, the paper chooses the scheme which uses all electromagnetic proportional valves to be the best. This paper then designed a control system for the independent flow rate system by the electromagnetic control, and this control system works well.According to the simulating and test, this scheme that the paper chooses can achieve the goal of regulating the nozzles’ flow rate, distributing the spray booms’ flow rate, making sure the independence of each other and the small pressure fluctuation during the process of the system operation.
