We chosen 3 types of winter rapeseed to research their botanical characteristics, physiological and biochemical characteristics, agronomic characteristics,and cold regulated gene,to study on adaptation of different types of winter rapeseed in northern China. The results are as follows:1.Different types of winter rapeseed had different cold resistance and ecological adaptation in different ecological regions. All types of winter rapeseed adapted well in Tianshui region, but not in Lanzhou region. In Lanzhou ecological region, only Winter Brassica rapa L. can over winter and their over wintering rates were more than 80%.2. There were some changes after winter rapeseed move from Tianshui to Lanzhou.Their botanical characteristics changed.Leaf color of winter rapeseed deepened, their petiole length shorter, the numer of cleft leaf pairs increased.Sate over leaf of Winter Brassica juncea Coss. and Winter Brassica rapa L. increased. Root length,root diameter,Leaf length, Leaf width, the fresh weight of root of all types of winter rapeseed in Lanzhou were more than that in Tianshui.It was conducive to photosynthesis to accumulate organic matter to root and that can help plants live through winter. Meanwhile,there were differences on physiological and biochemical characteristics. CAT、POD、SOD and SP、MDA of winter rapeseed increased,Ci、Gs、Tr、Pn decreased.Different types of winter had different changes. Winter Brassica rapa L. had maximum growth on CAT、POD、SOD and SP and minimum growth on MDA, minimum reduce on Ci、Gs、Pn,and its Tr increased 58.84%.Winter Brassica juncea Coss. had minimum growth on CAT、POD、SOD and SP,and maximum growth on MDA,maximum reduce on Ci、Tr、Pn,Gs increased. CAT、POD、SOD and SP、MDA of Winter Brassica napus L. increased,Ci、Gs、Tr、Pn decreased,and the change range between Winter Brassica rapa L. and Winter Brassica juncea Coss..The result showed that cold resistance of the three types of winter rapeseed is closely related to their physiological and biochemical characteristics.3. After northen from Tianshui to Lanzhou, plant height,height of effective branch,main stem length,number of siliques Per Plant and number of siliques Per Plant decreased,and number of second branches increased,1000 seeds weight of Winter Brassica rapa L. increased.In north district, the sunshine duration is long, the intensity is big, temperature diference between day and night is big, so winter rapeseed can still maintain a high grain. This is the biggest advantage and potential of winter rapeseed growing in northern China.4. According to m RNA of COR25 in NCBI, we designed primers to amplify 113 varieties of winter rapeseed.Amplification to COR25 gene, polymorphism was very appearance in all varieties,that proved cold regulated gene ubiquity in winter rapeseed.Further sequence analysis demonstrated that the DNA of texting varieties had a 103 bp intron and 2 SNP.Further study is needed on the relationship between the differences and cold resistance of winter rapeseed.
