China is a big country of fishery and most of the fish come from human culture, water, seed and feed are the three most important factors which impact fish culture. The traditional breeding methods are selective breeding and hybridization breeding. With the development of modern biology technique and the application of which in agriculture, the modern breeding methods are polyploid breeding, artificial gynogenesis, androgenesis breeding, transgenic breeding, genome-wide selective breeding and so on. The notice of development plan for biology industry by the State Council show the support from the country to inhance the work for aquiculture breeding. Some technique system like Gram-negative sole class just direct this task directly.Japanese flounder( Paralichthys olivaceus) belongs to pleuronectiformes, paralichthyidae, paralichthys. It is usually called dental film, trepostomata and flounder. It is an important mariculture fish. With the sea water pollution more serious, fish disease brings great damage to the mariculture. Edwardsiella tarda is one of the most deadly causes for the culture of Japanese flounder. To culture new species of Japanese flounder to better resist edwardsiella tarda, during April to June in 2014, we set up 47 different families base on the parent fish we screened from years before by hybridization, autocopuation and artificial gynogenesis. During September to October, we infect 39 families of them with edwardsiella tarda,80 fishes each family, and we explore the half lethal concentration before all the fishes are going to be infected. The result shows that the survival rate of each family is 1.19%-51.19%, the average survival rate is 20.29%, we believe 7 families who have the survival rate above 30% are the families with high resistance to edwardsiella tarda, 9 families who have the survival rate between 20.29%-30% are the families with medium resistance to edwardsiella tarda, 23 families who have the survival rate below 20.29% are the families with low resistance to edwardsiella tarda. 1406 can best resist edwardsiella tarda, it was self-crossed by 1005, the other families with good resistance are mostly the offspring of 1005, 09104 and 0915. 09104 is the offspring of 0768 who have a good resistance to vibrio anguillarum. 1005 was self-crossed by korea group, 0915 was hybrided by korea group and Japanese group. This Japanese flounder with high disease resistance can be popularized as new strain to reduce the occurance of virulent ascitesosis disease. To evaluate the growth trait of the 39 paralichthys olivaceus families which have been used to injection experiment, we use daily gain as index to compare each other, and we find out 5 families which have a relative high growth speed, they are 1417,1430,1446,1421,1424, they can also highly resist edwardsiella tarda except 1430 which can be explained as 0917 can badly resist edwardsiella tarda which is the ancestor of 1430. So we can conclude that the family which can better resist edwardsiella tarda can also grow fast, which is accord with the result of correlation analysis.
