The structure of all-steel assembled solar greenhouse is special, which is assembled by movable steel and grass, optimized many shortcomings of traditional solar greenhouse. Besides, the land utilization is improved by the thin grass instead of thick brick walls and the ability of anti-wind and snow enhanced by the steel instead of bamboo poles, which does not destroy the land arable layer and is conductive to crop growth and development. In order to provide technology for promotion and using this type of greenhouse and theoretical basis, this experiment were measured the solar greenhouse, light, temperature and humidity for environment parameters, and analyzed the growth conditions as well as evaluated the production and quality of greenhouse pepper. The main studies are as followings:First, compared with Baiyin type greenhouse, the average illumination, temperature and heating rate of Liaoyang greenhouse are increased by 13.9%, 1.5℃ and 3.5℃, respectively. In addition, the average temperature of Liaoyang greenhouse is higher than Baiyin 1.5℃ during warming phase at 9:00 to 17:00, and the average temperature of Liaoyang greenhouse is lower than Baiyin 0.7℃ during cooling phase, which shows that thicker walls have better nights environment and heat storage are also good. Moreover, the 5cm and 15 cm ground temperature of Liaoyang greenhouse are lower than Baiyin greenhouse 1.3℃ and 0.8℃.Second, the temperature change trend of the two greenhouses under typical weather is basically same, south than the north, west to east. In addition, the southern average temperature of Liaoyang greenhouse is higher than the northern0.16℃,west is higher than east 0.32℃; the southern average temperature of Baiyin greenhouse is higher than the northern0.41℃,west is higher than east 0.65℃, It shows a more uniform temperature distribution inside the greenhouse of Liaoyang type.Third, the total solar radiation of indoor and outdoor of greenhouses has significantly positive correlation was y=6.1172e0.032 x. Moreover, the indoor temperature is raised along with the enhancement of solar radiation, and there are significantly positive correlation between them,which could be matched by linear regression equation y=0.4631x+6.4203.Forth, the relative growth rate of pepper pant height and stem diameter of Liaoyang greenhouse is higher than Baiyin greenhouse, and the quality of pepper has no difference. Furthermore, the yields of two greenhouses are 5146.5kg and 4710.1kg per 667m2, and the production of Liaoyang greenhouse is higher than Baiyin greenhouse 436.4kg per 667m2, the rate of increasing production is 9.1%.
