| Stripe rust is the major disease of barley, pathogenic bacteria mainly is Puccinia striiformis barley specialization(Puccinia striiformis West.f.sp.hordei), in addition to, a part of the Puccinia striiformis wheat specialization(Puccinia striiformis West.f.sp. tritici) Physiological races can infect barley. There are occurrence of barley stripe rust in Shanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, Henan highland barley planting area. Longnan in Gansu and northwest of Sichuan as the wheat stripe rust mainly the summer zone(bacteria source) and Gannan in Gansu and connected to the Aba in Sichuan and Qinghai Haidong, Huangnan region barley growing areas of bordering neighbouring. The preliminary investigation results analysis which is form Gansu Gannan highland barley stripe rust, the area of highland barley stripe rust fungus population toxicity complex and there is wheat specialization, may the presence of bacterial source exchange with the neighboring Chinese wheat stripe rust mainly over summering region. Therefore, this study launched barley growing areas of stripe rust fungus of specialized types and distribution, pathogen physiological differentiation and pathogenicity, study on barley stripe rust of wheat biotypes of wheat stripe rust in China mainly in summer and the influence area of Longnan in Northwest Sichuan. The results were as follows:1. In barley stripe rust sense cultivar’ Guoluo ’and wheat stripe rust sense of cultivar’ Minxian 169 ’ breeding barley stripe rust standard samples at the same time respectively was collected in Gansu, Qinghai and Sichuan Province highland barley plant area, 125 strains were obtained. In ’Guoluo ’ get 27 copies,’ Minxian 169 ’get 75 copies, 23 copies in ’Guoluo’ and ’Mingxian 169’ together. The results of the special identification of 125 strains to wheat cultivar’ Huixian red ’showed that 30 copies of barley specialization and 95 wheat specialization were obtained. Which collected in Gansu Province 70 copies barley stripe rust fungus, 17 copies barley specialization and 53 copies wheat specialization; Qinghai Province collected 48 copies barley stripe rust, 10 copies barley specialization, 38 copies wheat specialization; Sichuan Province acquisition of 7 copies barley stripe rust, 3 copies barley specialization, 4 copies wheat specialization. In the planting areas of China’s Gansu, Qinghai and Sichuan Province highland barley stripe rust that exist at the same time barley specialization and wheat specialization.2.The determination of pathogenicity for barley stripe rust on the domestic and foreign 49 copies barley cultivars seedling, The results showed that barley stripe rust tested in 49 varieties of barley production were toxic, the toxicity of frequency Gan green 3, Gan green 5, Xinmin six edge, peony barley, et al.11 varieties have reached more than 80%, in some varieties even reached 100%; the Kang green 3, Kang green 7, Morex, Kun Lun 13, et al. 19 barley varieties the toxicity frequency between 50%~80%; on Trumpf, Huang green 2, Abed binder12, Topper the toxicity of frequency between 30%-50%, only for 83A19-1, Bigo, Emir, Bancroft, I5, Mazurka and Varunda,et al. 11 varieties of virulence frequency below 30%.Pathogenicity determination of barley stripe rust to 61 samples wheat stripe rust known gene varieties seedling. The results showed that only C591, Reibersel 47-51, Vilmorin23, Ibis and Clemert on barley stripe rust immune test, and the remaining 89% of the known wheat cultivars showed susceptible. The virulence of chinese166 is 95%, the virulence of 10 varieties of Heines Peko, Lemihi, Thatcher, and p1295, et al. between 50%~80%; Hugenoot, avocet S*6/Yr7, alpowa and Maris Hantsman et al. 15 a known genetic varieties of virulence frequency between 30%~50%. The toxicity frequency of 13 varieties such as Prolific Avocet S *6/Yr27, Avocet S *6/Yr17 Spaldings and Daws were 30% the following. In the planting areas of highland barley barley stripe rust can not only of barley varieties and the known wheat genotypes and pathogenicity and barley stripe rust and wheat stripe rust are common in the susceptible host.3. On the part of 82 strains identified as wheat biotypes for identification of physiological races of wheat stripe rust in the national unified differential hosts, The results showed that barley stripe rust was the main pathogenic group for Su11 group, Hybrid46 group and G22 group, of which 15 copies of the Su11 group, accounting for 18.29% of the total; five copies of Hybrid46 group, accounting for 6.10%; G22 group 62 copies, accounting for 75.61%. Infection of wheat stripe rust of wheat, the main pathogenic group are Luo 13 group, Su11 group, Hybrid46 group, G22 group and Zhongsi pathotype groups, which Su11 group for the first group, accounting for 39.01%; secondly are Hybrid46 group, accounting for 29.15%; G22 group accounting for 27.35%; Luo 13 group and Zhongsi groups accounted for 1.79% and 0.9%.
