In order to study the effects of 1RS.1BL translocation on wheat quality traits and their stability in different ecological regions. We have constructed a set of recombinant inbred lines(RILs) developing from the cross between wheat cultivars CN17 (1RS.1BL) x MY11(no 1RS.1BL), which was planted in Henan and Sichuan two different ecological region,Using Acid polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(A-PAGE) to Identify 1RS.1BL translocation chromosome of this recombinant inbred lines; And then analyzed the effects of 1RS.1BL translocation on wheat’s Falling Number、 Development Time、Stability Time,Farinograph Quality Number in different area. Used SSR molecular markers to build genetic map of this recombinant inbred lines. Utilized composite interval mapping analytic method to wheat quality traits QTL, and the quality traits include SDS-Sediment Value(SDS-SV), Falling Number(FN), Gluten Index(GI), Wet Gluten Content(WGC), Dry Gluten Content(DGC),Development Time(DT),Stability Time(ST). The main results are as follows:1.In this recombination inbred lines,53 1RS.1BL translocation chromosome wheat strains have been identified, and account for 30.11 percent of this RIL population.2.The results indicate that 1RS.1BL translocation has a significant negative effect on the mean values for the Development Time, Dough Stability, and Farinograph Quality Number. More strong effect was observed in the north region Henan than the south region Sichuan and reached to 5% significant level.Different reaction of wheat quality to the existed 1RS.1BL in different ecological regions wasobserved for the Falling Number, which reduced the stability of quality traits of the RIL in different regions. The Dough Stability exhibited the most instability between two regions. The Falling Number of the RIL was significant lower in the south region than in north region, which inhibited partly the expression of other quality traits in the south region. However, a similar distribution tendency of these quality traits was found in all plant groups of RIL, to indicate the high quality lines would exist in the lines with and without 1RS.1BL translocation, and to indicate that it is possible to develop the 1RS.1BL wheat cultivar with high yield, high quality and good resistance to diseases. The method for wheat breeding for developing cultivars with 1RS.1BL in different ecological regions was discussed in this paper.3.When this RIL population was planted in Sichuan province,a correlation analysis of wheat quality traits had been made. Firstly, the result indicated that the gluten related indexes have no significant relevance to other wheat quality traits, but Wet Gluten Content and Dry Gluten Content have a significant relevance to SDS sediment value. Besides, SDS-Sediment value has no obvious correlation with Falling Number, but significant positive correlation with the dough rheological traits. Between Development time and Stability Time, Wet Gluten Content and Dry Gluten Content, showed extreme significant positive correlation.4.Utilizingthree sets of SSR primers (Xgwm, Xwmc, Barc),in total 993 pairs, to identify the polymorphism between CN17 cultivar and MY11 cultivar, and found 123 pairs of primers have been showed polymorphism between two parents. Constructed the genetic linkage map and molecular primers were distributed in wheat 15 chromosomes, the total length of the genetic linkage distance was 2446cM, an average interval of 19.8cM.5.The QTL analysis of the wheat quality traits found that 1 gluten index QTL on 5A chromosome, explained 15% of the phenotypic variation; On 3B and 6B chromosome, exist SDS sediment value QTL, respectively explain 36.5%phenotypic variation and 29.95% phenotypic variation; On 5D chromosome one Dough Stability Time of QTL has been found, explained 14.3% phenotypic variation; On 2D chromosome, there are two Dry Gluten Content QTL explained 33% of the phenotypic variation in total.
