In this study, starting from the theory of forest resource survey and monitoring. Developed multi-functional MINI tree super station meter and the specific technology application tests have been carried out to verify its functionality. This paper expounds the background information under the condition of forest measuring technology principle and method. Studied on tree measuring principle and method, sample plot survey technology principle and method. Through experiment contrast analysis, Verify the new technology, new methods of convenience and high efficiency. Solves the existing forest resources field investigation and monitoring technology in China method is time-consuming, laborious, poor accuracy and field investigation data to secondary school such as difficulties in the process. For the implementation of precision forestry in China and the construction of forestry information platform to provide effective technical support and technical services. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1. The field work time and work intensity is significantly reduced, the degree of automation and informatization level in the industry get improved, meanwhile the accuracy of forest resource survey and monitoring is significant to improve. Informationization forest measuring technology and method, is gradually replacing the traditional technology and methods, in the forest resource survey and monitoring has been widely used and effective technical support for the implementation of precision forestry in China.
