Coated urea release fertilizer efficiency slowly compared with conventional urea,which could reduce the waste of nitrogen effectively, because of the coated urea cost high, so it can’t be applied in large quantities in the field of agricultural production.Consider maize to be the research material, through the field text of three different brands coated urea which has two kinds of release period(60 days and 90 days)mixing applied and combined application of coated urea and conventional urea, as well as the pot text of coated urea and three different irrigation methods(FI, DI, PRD)coupled, the maize growth and soil nitrogen and as well as yield were invested, and then reduce the production cost effectively and improve the fertilizer utilization ratio.The main research results were as follows:1.In different release period of the coated urea mixed experiment, the maize plant height and the relative chlorophll content(SPAD) had no significant differences compared to CK treatment; Type B coated urea mixing applied could increase maize leaf area, fresh weight, ammonia nitrogen, soil total nitrogen, plant total nitrogen content significantly; The yield of A1A2、A1B2、A1C2、B1B2、C1C2 treatment was significantly higher than CK treatment, among them the yield of B1B2 was highest.2.In the combined application of coated urea and conventional urea experiment,at the beginning of the maize growth, constant of conventional urea treatment and reduction of conventional urea treatment was significantly higher than combining application treatment for the indicators, while combining application treatment was significantly higher than constant of common urea treatment and reduction of conventional urea treatment for the plant height, leaf area, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, soil total nitrogen, plant total nitrogen in the late of maize growth; For the maize leaf area, fresh weight, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, soil total nitrogen,plant total nitrogen content, and maize yield, the treatment which the coated urea had the largest proportion was significantly higher than other else.3. In the pot experiment, in the 21 days after transplanting seedling(then began to water treatment), the maize plant height, relative chlorophyll content, plant total nitrogen, soil ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, total nitrogen content of conventional urea group was significantly higher than coated urea group; In the 45 days after transplanting seedling, the treatment of coated urea and FI coupling increased plant height, plant total nitrogen content most significantly; The treatment of coated urea and FI or DI coupling was significant higher than PRD; The effect of coated urea and FI or PRD coupling could increase maize fresh weight than DI significantly; The effect of coated urea and different irrigation methods coupling were all showed by FI>PRD>DI for the relative chlorophyll, ammonia nitrogen, soil total nitrogen content, there were significant differences between them; In the 69 days after transplanting seedling, the treatment of coated urea and FI coupling were significant higher than DI and PRD for the leaf area, fresh weight, relative chlorophyll content,plant total nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, soil total nitrogen content; The treatment of coated urea and FI or PRD coupling were significantly higher than DI treatment for the plant height, ammonia nitrogen.
