Porcine coronavirus diarrhea are caused with porcine epidemic diarrhea virus and porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus, and they are the diseases with vomiting, severe diarrhea and a high mortality rate of infectious diseases of the digestive tract. Two kinds of pathogens are belongs to the coronavirus, the diseases are very similar in clinical manifestations and they are mixed infection more often. These kinds of diseases is one of the important causes of early death of piglets in China and the world. Accurate understanding of the disease and mortality in different regions of China is of great significance to the prevention and treatment of the disease of the scientific prevention and control of the disease.Faeces are collected from 26 scale farms diarrhea piglets in Inner Mongolia from the western and eastern regions during the February 2012 to the August 2015. The samples of was detected for PEDV and TGEV with RT-PCR, On the other hand, TGEV was isolated from the positive faece with Swine testicle(ST) cell. The detection restults showed that there are 22 positive farms for PEDV, four farms for TGEV and three of them infected with PEDV, two of farms were not detected both TGEV and PEDV, only one pig farm is infected with TGEV alone, The results showed that the occurrence of porcine viral diarrhea was mainly caused with the infection of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus in the Inner Mongolia area.TGEV isolation results showed the cytopathic effect in Swine testicle(ST) cell is not very obvious and with increasing passages the CPE are gradually obvious, after 30 generations, cells showed a round shrinkage, shedding. RT-PCR detection showed that all the passages of the virus are positive for TGEV, and the TGEV is also demonstrated with indirect immunofluorescence and virus electron microscope observation. The TGEV isolation are important in theoretical and practical significance for the further study of the pathogenicity or the immunogenicity of the virus.
