The symbol of the rice planting mechanization is that rice transplanters are widely used. Transplanting mechanism as the heart of planting mechanism, has been indepth studied in various countries. Although the high-speed transplanting mechanism develop more maturely, but there are still many problems. It’s very necessary and meaningful work to optimize structure parameters and size parameters.Studied the new crank and rocker transplanting mechanism; applied mechanics, topological analysis, CAE simulation knowledge, etc.; explored the structure of the General movement, studied the key parameters in the motion path effects, discussed the general process of transplanting mechanism based on topology optimization and parameter selection method. Main results are as follows:(1) The two-mathematical model of transplanting mechanism and the transplanting mechanism model have been built. The effects of structural parameters on the trajectory has been studied. The key parameters of the transplanting mechanism, rocker swing angle and speed, have been extracted.(2) By applying the regeneration of topological design, 6 new type of transplanting mechanism with the same features have been got, and compared the characteristics of programs.(3) By using Recur Dyn, general kinematics model of transplanting mechanism has been established and analysed. The database of the rocker arm angle change has been created. The process of optimizing body structural parameters has been discussed through example.
