Through surveys fuel distribution and potential fire behavior conditions of Beijing Xishan Forest Farm Reclining Buddha breakout forest types in this article, Researched the effects of different factors on weather conditions and fire behavior Site status, calculated with different types of fuel fire behavior potential size, combined the Wat Pho Woodland terrain, forest resource distribution map and DEM (30×30) elevation maps, Use the powerful image processing functions of ARCGIS 10.2, show up the different types of potential fuel firing strength, flame height and other fire behavior characteristics in the form of visual map, To strengthen forest fuel management for forest fire prevention departments and facilitate the forest fire suppression commanders to commanding fast and effective fire-fighting. Thereby reducing the harm caused by forest fires on forest resources to the maximum extent, It will reduce the risk of forest fires into the man-made controllable range. Research indicates:1) According to cluster analysis results can be obtained, We can divided Beijing Xishan Forest Farm into five fuel types, LX-1(Robinia pseudoacacis forest)、LX-2(Pinus tabulaeformis forest)、LX-3(Platycladus orientalis forest)、LX-4 (Mixed broadleaf forest)、 LX-5 (Mixed coniferous broad-leaved forest), Its effective surface fuel load size are LX-2(Pinus tabulaeformis forest)> LX-1> (Robinia pseudoacacis forest)> LX-4(Mixed broadleaf forest)> LX-3(Platycladus orientalis forest)>LX-5 (Mixed coniferous broad-leaved forest)2) In the absence of wind conditions or 2.3m/s wind speed, the (high) humidity conditions, Five kinds of fuel type surface fire spread maximum speed, Fireline strength, flame height are lower, It’s difficult to cause harm to the stand structure; In 2.3m/s wind speed, low-humidity environment, the surface potential fire behavior of Pinus tabulaeformis forest and broadleaf forest are higher, it can burn a large area of understory vegetation and cause great harm to the stand structure; under the condition of 11m/s wind speed, surface potential fire behavior indicators are no longer with the gradient changes, It’s closely contact with combustible material humidity changes. Under low humidity conditions, Robinia pseudoacacis forest fire spread maximum speed can reach 41m/min,Five kinds of fuel type Fireline strength, flame length as followed by LX-2(pinus tabulaeformis forest)> LX-1> {Robinia pseudoacacis forest)> LX-4(Mixed broadleaf forest)> LX-3(platycladus orientalis forest)>LX-5 (Mixed coniferous broad-leaved forest).pinus tabulaeformis forest the high-intensity surface fire and rapidly converted to crown fire, the other four fuel types can occur medium intensity surface fire.Because of the low branch, platycladus orientalis forest and Mixed broadleaf forest could be transformed by a surface fire to crown fire. Under the middle and high humidity conditions, The fire behavior of robinia pseudoacacis forest reduced drastically, It’s difficult to cause harm to the stand structure. The fire behavior of pinus tabulaeformis forest and Mixed broadleaf forest are still high, can still cause greater harm to the stand structure, It should be the focus of ongoing monitoring of regional forest fire prevention.3) crown fire usually caused by high intensity surface fire, in windy, arid environment. Potential crown Fireline strength of pinus tabulaeformis forest and platycladus orientalis forest are higher, Respectively 43067kw/m and 36136.56kw/m, It can burn all creatures, and have great harm and difficult to put out.4) Different fire intensity take different fighting measures that can reduce the cost of fighting forest fires maximum extent, In this paper, We divided the different potential fire intensity into five levels, And propose appropriate fighting measures to greatly improve the efficiency of fire fighting for different levels, put forward reasonable and effective recommendations for forestry fire department.
