In the semi-arid region of Northwest China, the ridge and furrow planting patterns on corn yield significant results was the promotion of a large area. But in ridge and furrow planting patterns of nitrogen fertilizer on soil physical and chemical properties, effects on crop growth are rarely reported. Therefore, in the ridge and furrow planting(P) for Peace(C) is set on the basis of no fertilizer(T1), basal application of urea(T2), basal application of slow-release fertilizer(T3) 3 treatments, and Arid Regions investigate ridge and furrow planting next spring corn nitrogen fertilizer optimum manner. The main results are as follows:(1) ridge and furrow planting can significantly improve before heading stage and maturity 10 cm soil layer temperature, ridge and furrow for planting peace deal with 10 cm soil layer maximum temperature difference in the seedling stage, up to 4.93%. Under the same cultivation methods, 5cm, 10 cm soil daily temperature fluctuation range, 15 cm soil temperature diurnal variation amplitude is small, no nitrogen fertilizer on soil temperature. In the spring maize growth period, with relatively flat for the next ridge and furrow planting treatments was no significant difference 0-100 cm soil soil water storage, but it can significantly improve soil water storage 100-200 cm soil.(2) as compared with the flat, ridge and furrow planting process the next height in the jointing stage significantly increased by 11.1%, in the heading of significantly increased by 6.4%. Ridge and furrow treatment under LAI was significantly higher than the level for the treatment of silking maximum. Ridge and furrow planting dry matter accumulation under each treatment were significantly higher than the level for processing, representing an increase of 11.88% for the flat-31.6%. Ridge and furrow treatment relative chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance and other indicators are significantly higher than the level for processing, ridge and furrow treatment under PT3 process will help improve the SPAD value and net photosynthetic rate.(3) grain weight showed PT3> PT2> PT1> CT1, grains per spike showed PT3> PT2> PT1> CT1. PT2 process yield 12000.3kg / hm2, PT3 process yield 12251.1kg / hm2, the difference was not significant, but significantly higher than the PT1 processing 12.77% and 11.36%, significantly higher than CT1 processing 21.09% and 23.62%. Ridge and furrow treatment can significantly improve the spring corn nitrogen partial factor productivity, higher than the 9.14% level for processing.
