Drought is the main meteorological disaster which restricts the development of agriculture, In recent years, Precipitation was significantly reduced in some parts of China,which have a serious impact on the agriculture. A new type of irrigation called trace irrigation is invented to deal with water shortage and water contradiction. It is reported that, the technology has a good effect on the saving water, but it is rarely reported that the technology is used on the tomato. In this test, tomato was test material, drip irrigation as the contrast. The growth characteristics, yield and quality in the case of self pressure plus pressure with different pipe depth. Height, Stem diameter, the number of leaves, the fresh and drought weight above and under ground. The following conclusions are obtained:1. The effect of different buried depth to the growth index of tomato in the self pressure and plus pressure.In the circumstances of self pressure and plus pressure, the index of tomato is significantly improve, especially the buried depth of 15 cm. The buried depth of 15 cm in the circumstance of self pressure was improved by 14.6%、19.0%、73.1% than the CK in the underground and overground and stem diameter. In the circumstance of plus pressure, the buried 15 cm was improved 15.7%、27.3%、42.5% than the CK. In the circumstance of self pressure and plus pressure, the height was reduced of different depth. But the height of buried depth of 15 cm and 30 cm are approached to the CK.2. The effect of different buried depth to the chlorophyll of tomato in the self pressure and plus pressure.The chlorophyll of the treatment of buried depth of 0 cm was significantly improved, but the other treatments were not improved significantly.3. The effect of different buried depth to the yield of tomato in the self pressure and plus pressure.In the circumstance of self pressure, the single fruit weight of 0 cm reduce 19.7% than the CK, but the single weight of 15, 30 cm improve 19.0%, 30.9%; The yield of 0, 15, 30 cm improve5.62%,73.12%,41.47%; In the circumstance of plus pressure, the single fruit weightof 0 cm reduce 17.5% than the CK, but the single weight of 15, 30 cm improve 27.3%, 40.4%;The yield of 0 cm improve24.4%, but the yield of 15,30 cm improve 42.5%,38.5%.4. The effect of different buried depth to the fruit quality of tomato in the self pressure and plus pressure.The VC and soluble sugar are significantly different from the CK, but the effect is small to the VC and soluble sugar. The VC and soluble sugar is improved 32.4%、17.0% than the CK in the circumstance of self pressure. The depth of 0 cm was improved 32.4%、17.0 on the VC and soluble sugar in the circumstance of plus pressure.
