The planting area of fast-growing eucalyptus in Guangxi province is very huge, and the ecological problems of Eucalypt plantation are quite serious. As one of important characteristic fruit in Guangxi province, the planting area of Mango is also very great. With the increasing of silvicultural area of the eucalyptus, many mango orchard had began had a common border with the eucalyptus. In order to know how the fast-growing eucalyptus affect mango pests, this paper made investigations on occurrence species and amount of Guangxi fast-growing ecualyptus, mango, mixed forest and other kinds of forests, and made the comparation of the index of pest species, diversity index, evenness index and other indicators. At the same time, this paper also made investigations and research on the living habits, occurrence law, life history, developmental threshold, effective accumulated temperature and so on of the Argroploce aporbola Meiyrck, which did more and more serious to mango. The main results were as follows:1.According to the investigation of the eucalyptus and mango, there are 7 orders,31 families and 55 species of pests in total which do harm to the eucalyptus, there are 7 orders, 14 families and 24 species of Eucalyptus insect natural enemies, there are 8 orders,37 families and 76 species of mango pests,7 orders,16 families and 29 kinds of mango insect natural enemies, there are 4 orders,15 families and 23 kinds of same pests which are shared by the two species of forests.2. According to the pest community investigation of the pure eucalyptus, eucalyptus on border, the pure mango and the mango on border, the ranks of the index of pest species of richness index, diversity index and evenness index are the same, richness index of pest species:the mango on border> the pure mango> the eucalyptus on border> pure eucalyptus, diversity index:the mango on border>the pure mango>the eucalyptus on border> pure eucalyptus, uniformity index:the mango on border> the pure mango> the eucalyptus on border> pure eucalyptus.3. Through the investigation of Mango pest community on the neighbouring planting system of the eucalyptus and mango, four different distance investigation area is apart from the boundary, check 38 species and 2839 head of pests. The number of species and diversity index of Mango pest community decreased with the increasing distance from the boundary.0 to 20 m pest species> individual number diversity index and evenness index is the highest. The results of diversity analysis of the different distance showed, species number and diversity index were significant, evenness index was not significant; Individual number only in 21 to 50 m distance compared with other distance was a significant difference, the rest of the distance difference were not significant.4. The eucalyptus-mango mixed forests and the pure mango forests, there are 8 orders, 31 families,51 species and a number of 1457 individuals in the mixed forest, there are 8 orders,27 families,43 species and a number of 1753 individuals in the pure mango forest, the families and species in mixed forests are increased, but the total amount of individual is decreased.5. The investigation of the age of eucalyptus plantation effects on occurrence of main pests of mango, the main pests are basically the same, Damage rate of Chlumetia transversa and Deporaus marginatus are the same growth and decline during April to October every year.6. Argroploce aporbola Meiyrck is feeding on the tender leaves and tender shoot, which effected new shoot extraction, there are 9 generations per year in Nanning and the generations overlap, the larva hides in the rolled leaf and feeds on the leaf, the low age larvae has the nature to damage other leaves. The mature larva will pupate in rolled leaves, the peak of adult of emergence are mostly in the morning, the eggs are sawpning everywhere, each leaf is attatched by one egg in most times, sometimes there are two.7. Within the scope of the 18-32℃, Argroploce aporbola Meiyrck can complete their generation growth and development, with the increasing temperature, the average needed temperature of different developmental stage and whole generation is cutting down. Under the same temperature, the different stage period are obviously different, Larva period> Pupa period> Preoviposition period> Egg period. The different period of developmental threshold temperature of Argroploce aporbola Meiyrck are:egg (10.08±3.36)℃, the larva (9.45±3.04)℃, the pupa (9.52±3.20)℃, the adult (14.81±2.37)℃, the generation duration (9.76±2.18)℃. The Effective accumulative temperature of the larva of Argroploce aporbola Meiyrck is the longest during all the insect stages is (209.33±32.14)day degree, the preoviposition period is the shortest is (38.00±6.18)day degree. The needed accumulative temperature of the whole generation is (453.40±57.74)day degree.
