With people concern more about climate change, and the soil organic carbon in the natural forests accounts for a large proportion of terrestrial carbon pool, dynamic changes of soil organic carbon plays an important role in regulating carbon balance and slow the rising of greenhouse gases concentrations such as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Therefore this study selected Dagangshan Chinese representative natural features castanopsis fargesii forest soil as the research object, through the indoor cultivation and analysis determination and simulating the mineralization process of organic carbon was by using the double exponential equation and getting the soil active carbon content;and analyze the characteristics of mineralization carbon and active carbon content of soil during different growing seasons, which are April, June, August, October and December through the analysis of variance and path analysis methods, discussed the impact of the amount of rainfull, soil temperature, the nitrogen content, bacteria, fungus and actinomycetes on the rule of seasonal change of soil carbon mineralization and active carbon, the significance of this study obviously is there for understanding the regional forest ecosystem carbon cycle. The results showed that:(1) during the castanopsis fargesii growing season, soil organic carbon content decreased with soil depth increases, with the change of growing stage, the difference of soil organic carbon content is not obvious, without obvious seasonal changes features(2) Soil active organic carbon content under the forest of castanopsis fargesii reduced with soil depth increasing, the variation of active carbon burst size on each soil layer ranges August>June>April, and reduces gradually behind. Soil labile organic carbon shows significant difference for a second month with obvious seasonal change. The soil temperature, the amount of germs and organic carbon content and their interactions were principal elements of seasonal change of soil active organic carbon content under the forest of castanopsis fargesii; (3) The carbon content of soil mineralization under the forest of castanopsis fargesii reduced with soil depth increasing; release percent of CO2 presented a general trend on different soil layers in different growing seasons, mineralized rapidly at the beginning of the culture stage, release percent of CO2 mushroomed, with time increasing, the accumulated amount of mineralized carbon released increase gradually, the degree of mineralization gradually becomed slow and ended up with steady; the variation of mineralizable carbon burst size on each soil layer ranged August>June>April, and reduced gradually behind. Soil labile organic carbon shows obvious seasonal change. The soil temperature, the amount of germs and organic carbon content and their interactions were principal elements of seasonal change of soil mineralizable carbon intensity under the forest of castanopsis fargesii.
