Due to soil water interface between soil and atmosphere at the junction of the interface, thereby directly control and affect the interaction of the two, soil moisture monitoring on agriculture, meteorology, ecology, hydrology, and other fields has a very important research significance. With remote sensing technology is gradually mature and development, making it possible to large-scale dynamic real-time monitoring soil moisture condition, to a great extent, overcome the deficiency of the traditional method of soil moisture content monitoring,a practical and efficient, the advantages of simple and flexible. This paper mainly studied the use of remote sensing data from landsat 8 TIRS lightning of luanhe river basin river basin of the remote sensing inversion of soil moisture content. Soil moisture content of remote sensing inversion is to assume that at the present stage high for bare soil and vegetation coverage of two kinds of ideal state, bare soil, soil moisture remote sensing inversion methods mainly include spectrometry, and the temperature vegetation index TVDI method is suitable for the vegetation coverage is higher, so in view of the spectrum method and the different characteristics of the TVDI lightning in river basin as an example, using NDVI as discriminant threshold, to achieve better inversion accuracy, combined spectrum method and the TVDI method to establish the basin inversion model, and the final moisture content distribution study of the moisture content of the basin, and then used to verify the verifies the accuracy of sample data, further analyzes the soil moisture content and the correlation of climate factors in the study area, and preliminary discussed the use of remote sensing inversion results of soil moisture content distribution and its application in the research area of drought monitoring.
