The research is launched in the Haizi Watershedthat that is located at Liupan Mountain Area. The author used the data collecting, field survey, located observation and other methods to study the characteristics of dynamic characteristics of soil moisture and surface runoff in nine kinds of different vegetation configuration modes, which reveals the runoff and objective changes to a watershed in the mainland and the region. It provides a scientific basis for selecting the appropriate artificial vegetation recovery model in the area. The results showed that:(1) Study on the variation characteristics of soil water content in vertical profileIn 0~100cm soil vertical profile, the overall features of the woodland is strong. With the increase of soil depth. Soil moisture change range of different woodland continues to decrease. In 0-20cm soil layer on the magnitude of the change is the biggest and in 80-100cm soil layer on the changes in the amplitude of the minimum. According to the changes in the variable coefficients, the change is divided to three layers:soil moisture content weak utilization layer, soil water content using layer and soil containing water stability adjustment layer.(2) Study on the dynamic characteristics of soil moisture content with timeIn the observation period, the different vegetation configuration modes of soil containing water has obvious seasonal characteristics, so the changes can be divided into three stages:accumulation period, consumption period, replenishment period. Through the analysis of the autocorrelation coefficient of the woodland in different layers of soil water content, the results show that the autocorrelation of 0-10cm is minimum and the autocorrelation coefficient of 20~40cm is larger. There are significant correlations in different forest soil containing water in different months and there exist significant differences in soil water content in different months.(3) Effects of rainfall on soil moisture and surface runoffThere is obvious correlation between the water and rainfall in different layers of soil water. It shows a significant positive correlation among the rainfall, the peak rainfall and the runoff duration and also indicates a significant positive correlation, among the average rainfall intensity, the runoff depth and the runoff coefficient, but the production of initial loss duration shows a negative correlation.
