So in 1965 in Xinjiang and other regions started to introduce and artificial planting lavender. The central and western regions of Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang both are of a similar climate environment. With lavender as the research object in this paper. Purpose is to find growth of lavender in the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia is the most suitable conditions, lavender in the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia be able to increase biodiversity. The purpose is to solve of the cultivation of lavender.The first part of the research is lavender twig cuttings L16 (44) orthogonal experiment. Purpose is to solve that lavender seedlings rapid breeding. Research content includes four different proportions of mixed substrate. four seed source of lavender. four different lengths of lavender seedling and four different concentrations of Rooting Powde effect the rooting rate. root dry weight. root length. The second part is the study of the seedling artificial optimization of cultivation. Test including lavender cultivation L9 (34) orthogonal test.narrow leaf lavender cultivation of single factor experiment. L9 (34) orthogonal experiment is to study three seed source of lavender. three ways of plastic film mulching, three types of fertilizer. three kinds of water cycle on the influence of survival rate. seedling height and crown breadth.Narrow leaf lavender cultivation of single factor experiment research content for the bare land. covering film before planting. furrowing planting effect on the survival rate. seedling height. crown amplitude. the influence of leaf area. The following conclusions:1 In twig cuttings L16 (44) orthogonal experiment. when the narrow leaf lavender cut the growing degree of 15 cm. dip 500 mg/kg of Rooting Powde. in the ratio of vermiculite and peat soil cutting to speak of the matrix with 6:4 in growth to achieve the best effect.2 Lavender cultivation L9 (34) orthogonal experiment. when the narrow leaf lavender plant covering membrane testbed. once every 3 days irrigation water. applying compound fertilizer. growth to achieve the best effect.3 Narrow leaf lavender single factor experiment. covering membrane before planting lavender. seedling survival rate of high increaing value. the increment of the crown. the increment of leaf area and chlorophyll content were higher than is the result of bare land planting and furrow planting.The two part of the study respectively in ordos city and Baotou.The two cities are located in the Midwest of Inner Mongolia. In this thesis to find suitable for the growth of lavender types. and the suitable growth conditions in the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia.
