Biomass And Carbon Storage Of Typical Forest Ecosystem In Anren Of Hunan Province

This article based on the data twelve-five forest resource survey of the dominant species area and volume of Anren county in 2013, using the biomass conversion factors between biomass and volume based on continuous function method of forest types biomass, carbon and carbon storage were estimated of Anren county; the forest for non-timber products biomass, the bamboo forest biomass and the shrub forest biomass of Anren was estimated with the average biomass method. And based on the estimated result of the forest biomass, recognized conversion factor of biomass-carbon storage has been adopted to estimate the forest carbon storage of Anren County; and evaluated the value of carbon sinks of Anren by the prices of carbon sinks from "The world’s carbon sinks trade price forecasts table".The results showed that:(1) The main forest types of Anren is Pinus massoniana, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Cedar wood, slow-growth broadleaved trees, normal-growing broadleaved trees, fast-growth broadleaved trees, Pinus elliottii, Populus L, Eucalyptus. Arbor forest area of 71267.1hm2, accounts for 95.25% of forest land area; The county live stumpage 3532021 m3, the forest volume is 3461840 m3, accounted for the total stumpage volume of 98.01%;Cunninghamia lanceolata and slow-growth broadleaved trees are the main of the forest stands of forest species (groups), the area of Cunninghamia lanceolata is 28555.5 hm2, accounted for 40.07% of the proportion of the total forest stand area, the volume is 1712157 m3, and 49.46% of the proportion of total forest stand volume; the slow-growth broadleaved trees is 14150.5 hm2, accounted for 19.86% of the proportion of the total forest stand area, the volume is 360869 m3,and 10.42% of the proportion of total forest stand volume.(2)From the respect of age structure, middle age and young age forest was in the dominant position, accounted for 80.0% of the proportion of the total forest stand area, and 57.72% of the proportion of total stand volume, the young age forest, the middle age forest, mature forest and over-mature forest accounted for 51.85%,28.15%,8.65% of the proportion of the total forest stand area, and 17.72%,40%,20.81% of the proportion of total forest stand volume of Anren County.(3)The forest total biomass of Anren County is 1808888.64 × 103t, the forest stand biomass is 1808132.55 × 103t of the main of the forest biomass, accounted for 99.96% of the proportion of the forest total biomass; forest for non-timber products,bamboo forest, shrub forest biomass are 246.49×103t,201.74×103t,307.86X 103t accounted for 0.014%,0.011%,0.017% of the proportion of the forest total biomass.(4) The biomass of each tree species of Anren were followed by Cunninghamia lanceolata (683263.36×103t)>Pinus massoniana(410825.52 X 103t)>slow-growth broadleaved 1rees(373792.32×103t)>normal-growing broadleaved trees (222564.75×103t)>Pinus elliottii (96433.63×103t)>fast-growth broadleaved trees(17328.53×103t)> Eucalyptus (2593.91×103t)>Populus L(1106.02×10h)>Cedar wood(224.51×103t).(5)The forest total carbon storage of Anren County is 904384.42 X 103t,the forest, the non-timber products forest, the bamboo forest, the shrub forest stand carbon storage are 904006.37×103t,123.25×103t,100.87×103t,153.93×103t.The average carbon density is 12.68t·hm-2. The stand species carbon storage followed by Cunninghamia lanceolata (341631.70×103t)>Pinus massoniana (205412.77X 103t)>slow-growth broadleaved trees(186896.17×103t)> normal-growing broadl-eaved trees (111282.38×103t)>Pinus elliottii (48216.83 X 103t)> fast-growth broadl-eaved trees(8664.28×103t)> Eucalyptus(1296.96×103t)>Populus 1(553.02×103t)> Cedar wood(112.26×103t).(6)The value of carbon sinks of Anren forest is 5875632.73×104 yuan, the value of carbon sinks of forest stands is 5873176.77×104yuan, the value of carbon sinks of forest for non-timber products is 800.68×104 yuan, the value of carbon sinks of bamboo forest is 655.29×104yuan, the value of carbon sinks of shrub forest is 999.99×104 yuan. The forest stand species carbon sink value followed by Cunninghamia lanceolata (2219376.18×10h)>Pinus massoniana(1334443.52X 103t)> slow-growth broadleaved trees(1214152.28×103t)>normal-growing broadleaved trees (722934.85×103t)>Pinus elliottii (313235.81×103t)>fast-growth broadleaved trees (56286.63×103t)> Eucalyptus(8425.57×10h)>Populus 1(3592.64×103t)> Cedar wood (729.29 X 103t).
