Xinjiang Altay sheep are excellent local sheep breeds, after thousands of years of natural domestication and artificial breeding, Altay sheep grazing has been formed under the rapid growth and development, the production of meat and fat and high performance. Relations with some key genes and genetic traits coat this study different coat of Altay sheep as experimental objects,reveal Altay wool color, according to the genetic characteristics of different coat color of sheep,develop appropriate breeding direction for cultivating feature Altay wool color varieties lay a solid foundation. Test through the formation of a single coat(brown, black, white) Altay sheep population, part of the genetic indicators measured using single-strand conformation polymorphism(PCR-SSCP) technique with sheep fur traits candidate gene(ASIP, MC1R)polymorphism studies and related analysis, the relationship between control Altay initially been colored wool coat with key genes and growth, reproductive traits, traits of meat, wool traits.Combined with the research results, the promotion and application of the accord Fuyun County Altay sheep breeding program(draft). The results showed that:(1) White Altay sheep 0--6 months the fastest growth, with a total weight gain, daily gain a significant difference compared with brown and black Altay sheep(P <0.05); 6 months of age, brown Altay sheep body size of each measurement indicators in general is higher than the other two coat of Altay sheep. Long wool and shearing between the amount of difference Altay three kinds of coat significantly(P <0.05), in which a long white wool and shearing Altay largest white Altay adult ewes lambing number was significantly higher than the brown and black Altay ewes lambing Number(P <0.05), but the lamb survival is low, this phenomenon may be due to white Altay few more adult ewes lambing. Altay different coat color of sheep milk performance difference was not significant(P> 0.05), described the amount of milk and fur is not relevant.(2) ASIP-2 and ASIP-4 primers were amplified fragment polymorphism, ASIP-3 primer fragment polymorphism does not exist. PCR-SSCP showed foreign ASIP gene exon 2 in the presence of three genotypes, respectively, the wild-type N5N9, deletion N5D5 and N5D9, these three genotypes certain value differences in different coat color of sheep populations exist Altay(P> 0.05). MC1R-4 loci were three different genotypes,namely CC type, DD type, DE-type, black coat Altay sheep population mainly dominated DE type genotype frequencies of 0.46; white and brown sheep Altay DD genotype group based mainly in the genotype frequencies were 0.39 and 0.37. After analysis and comparison, we found that there are more significant differences(P> 0.05) MC1R-4 sites in the three genotypes in different coat color of sheep in Altai.In summary, the combination of coat color polymorphism analysis of candidate genes related to the production of performance measurement results and Altay sheep can be drawn: White Altay sheep suitable for the production of wool felt fat lamb production and direction, while brown and black sheep Altay Altay sheep meat is more suitable.
