With the development of aquaculture, recent years, with the increase of Xinjiang pasture grazing capacity,Grassland desertification seriously affected the yield in Xinjiang region,Pasture supply Less than the requirement. As a result, the Xinjiang region grazing sheep lack of nutrition,Especially in the age of the sheep(lamb year) stored body fat content is relatively low, which led to many sheep, although the weight has basically reached a certain level, but it can not show obvious estrus traits, it can not reach breeding requirements,.Earlier the l-carnitine was used as a feed additive used in animal husbandry overseas. In recent years, the domestic study of l-carnitine gradually in-depth.Gradually found that l-carnitine not only have an effect on reduce weight, but also played an important role in inducing oestrus sheep. It has been confirmed that L-carnitine can regulate energy metabolism in the animal body levels, thus contributing to sheep estrus regulation mechanism which produces effects and animal estrus regulatory mechanisms have a consistent place, but Kazakh sheep body energy metabolism and the impact of changes in estrus, the present study less. This test is to kazak sheep for the object, add a certain concentration of l-carnitine in their diet,by analyzing experimental group sheep energy metabolism and blood biochemical index and the effect of hormone and estrus. In order to further investigate exogenous L- carnitine effects on the body energy metabolism and its application in sheep breeding to provide experiment basis.Research methods and main results are as follows.1. L-carnitine effect on weight and blood biochemical indicators of sheep: By testing the sheep feeding add diet weight change and the change of blood biochemical indicators such as:calcium ions(Ga2 +), albumin(propagated), total protein(TP), total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG), glucose(GLU), low density lipoprotein(LDL), p(P), urea nitrogen(BUN)and high density lipoprotein(HDL), compare with the normal sheep, found that after adding the l-carnitine sheep weight decrease: L- carnitine is added to the feed, which hold back the years old kazakh ram weight growth rate, average daily gain weight reduced 56.66 g/day; Age of L- carnitine to add also reduces the kazakh ewe weight growth rate, but reduce the amplitude is small, average daily gain weight reduced 30.00 g/day, L- carnitine is added that diet has a larger effect on body weight of kazak sheep; Add L- carnitine RAMS blood albumin, total protein and urea nitrogen content in the significant difference(P < 0.05),calcium ion, total cholesterol, triglyceride and phosphorus content in a downward trend; Add L- carnitine ewe calcium ions in the blood, glucose, and total protein content differ significantly(P < 0.05), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(ldl-c), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(hdl-c) and the content of phosphorus in the experimental group is on the decline;RAMS and ewes blood sugar concentration significantly higher than control group.2. L-carnitine on reproductive hormone levels in the blood and the influence of heatperiod: l-carnitine is added to the experiment of sheep diet, take the control group and experimental group of kazak sheep blood, determination of MLT in the peripheral blood, E2,FSH, LH and P4 hormone level changes, and observe its heat performance. Results show that adding l-carnitine feed that MLT secretion decreased 304.69±23.97 pg/ml, and significantly improves the FSH and LH secretion, increased 4.08±1.10 ng/ml and 1.20±0.32 ng/ml;Experimental group compared with control group estrus rate was 81.1%, the control rutting rate was 9.1%, the estrus rate of experimental group was obviously higher than control group.3. The influence of l-carnitine on sheep ovarian granulosa cells:By monitoring the sheep ovarian granulosa cells in different concentrations of growth situation, to explore whether l-carnitine is direct effects on sheep ovarian granulosa cells. After ovarian granulosa cells of primary and subculture, dispensed into containing different concentrations of L-carnitine dish: After observed, adding 0%, 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, 1.0% concentration of l-carnitine, the number of ovarian granulosa cells in culture bottle is 315 / cm2, respectively297 / cm2, 342 / cm2, 342 / cm2, 319 / cm2, 189 / cm2, the difference is not obvious, and the experimental group of ovarian granular cell morphology observation, treatment group compared with control group after the wedding of ovarian granular cell shape, no obvious change.Description of L-carnitine directly affect ovarian granulosa cells is not obvious, or no direct effect on ovarian granulosa cells, according to affect sheep estrus hypothalamic-pituitary- ovarian regulatory mechanisms, infer L-carnitine have an effect on the sheep estrus there may be acting on the hypothalamus, pituitary, and thus indirectly regulate ovarian function, prompting the sheep estrus. In this study, by setting the test group and the control group, with Kazakh sheep for the object, adding a certain concentration of L-carnitine in their diets, the analysis added carnitine had sheep fed diets energy metabolism, blood biochemical parameters and hormones estrus change impacts and to further investigate the effect of L- carnitine on the body’s energy metabolism and provide the experimental basis on sheep breeding applications.
