| Daitong River upstream area is in the northern edge of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau,the region’s alpine meadow became severe degraded in the process of human long-term overuse.In order to restore and governance of the degraded alpine meadow in the Daitong River upstream area, prove suitable grassland classification restoration technique in different degradation degree,for the region’s economic and ecological protection provides technical support.From 2012 to 2015,selected light degradation grassland,moderately severe degradation grassland and extreme degradation grassland do classification recovery test in Qinghai Haibei Prefecture Qilian County Mole town.With light degradation grassland take fertilization and spring grazing prohibition measures,for moderately severe degradation grassland take no-till reseeding measures,for extreme degradation grassland take establishing cultivated grassland measures.In the meanwhile,set their own standard values for different degradation level grassland,compare the plant community and the soil physical properties between the experimental area and standard value area,results are as follows.Light degradation grassland take fertilization and spring grazing prohibition measures 1 years later,the quantity of grass coverage,above ground biomass,good forage grass as well as the grasses increased significantly.The grass biomass on the ground and good forage quantity is respectively higher 87.9% and 59.4% than this area’s non-degraded kobresia pygmaea meadow.The coverage of grass and species number reached standard of non-degraded grassland.The moderately severe degradation grassland adopt no-till reseeding.The coverage of the grassland was significantly increased in the second year.The above ground biomass were significantly different between reseeding and not reseeding in two year and one year,and the reseed grass for two years is higher than one year.Reseed grass in the second year,grass coverage, species and the ground biomass have reached the standard of non-degraded alpine meadow grassland.The extreme degradation grassland was established into cultivated grassland.The coverage of the grassland,the ground biomass,forage grass, grass was significantly increased,grassland species reduced.Biomass and grassland forage of cultivated grassland is more than non-degraded Kobresia pygmaea meadow respectively 50%,at the age of four,cultivated grassland coverage has reached the non degraded grassland coverage standard. However,after establishing cultivated grassland, grassland species is less.Through this study,the classification restoration technique improved the grass production of ecological function,applicable to the recovery of degraded grassland in Qilian Mountain of Daitong River upstream. |
