The hilly- gully region of Loess p lateau has became the serious region of soil and water loss, Under the action of soil and water loss, the farmland is threatened faster by plateau surface,erosion channel expansion and ditch cut.Therefore,The erosion channel management and development work has a very important role in the loess plateau. Selected Chenggouhe typical small watershed as experiments in Hilly- gully Region of Loess plateau on Gan Su Province Analysised the slope ditch system’s water and sediment sources, Channel grading and classification of basic research to find out the basic situation of the erosion of the channel, For Soil and water conservation measures on the status of the channel model and bit configuration modes are summarized and presented research on soil and water conser vation district erosion channel Para Position Allocation Model,Provide a scientific basis for the erosion channel management work, for promote the economic development of small watershed ecology of important guiding significance.The main conclusions are in the following.(1)Studies have shown that slope is a major source of parts runoff,the channel is the main source of sediment basin in watershed.(2)Used the classification methods of Hortun-Strahler with geometric landscapes quantitative mathematical, selected Greater than or equal 500 m for Chenggou watershed. Explored Gullied channel classification method Gansu Province,Depended on the degree of opening, the degree of fragmentation and the main tributary status indicators, based on the channel C lassification, Conducted scientific classification,Determine the actual existence of the main types of channel types and different levels of channel.(3)Through field investigation of water conservation measures and the number of major plant species in C henggou watershed,Summarizes the different levels channels of governance.(4)Study on the Para Position Allocation Model of Soil and Water Conservation Measures, based on the channel, aspect, slope, soil type, etc. as key indicators in Chenggou watershed, divided 10 kinds of site conditions in small watershed with channel, Suitability through bit of resource and niche is calculated, proposed the different levels and different types of channel management Model in Chenggou Watershed.
