Shellfish toxins is a class of toxic compounds, produced by harmful algae and enriched by shellfish because of feeding. Among of them, diarrhetic shellfish poisoning is the first case prepared from the mussel tissue and can lead to diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. In recent years, along with the rapid development of extensive economy, red tides caused by eutrophication frequently occur, which increasingly influence on the safety of shellfish and block our export trade of shellfish and health for consumers. The survey found that the shellfish samples in the coastal areas of China, from the north of Yellow Sea, the Jiaozhou Bay of Yellow Sea, the south sea of Zhejiang, the sea of Fujian and Guangdong were polluted seriously and it is very necessary to study more on the profiles and variation of DSP to provide guarantee for the shellfish safety. So far, the regulation to monitor toxins is including direct detection in shellfish and analysis of harmful algae in seawater. Solid phase adsorption toxin tracking(SPATT) simulates toxins contamination of filter feeding bivalves to consecutively monitor variations. As a result, SPATT has developed rapidly to monitor toxins released by harmful algae in the sea water. In this paper, okadaic acid(OA), dinophysistoxin-1(DTX1), dinophysistoxin-2(DTX2) and pectenotoxin-2(PTX2) in seawater and shellfish from Lingshan Bay and Haizhou Bay of Yellow Sea using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS) were determined. This paper was on DSP of seawater in Lingshan Bay and Haizhou Bay of Yellow Sea using SPATT absorbing for 7days. The detected toxins were same, which was OA, DTX1 and PTX2, no DTX2. OA and PTX2 were the major toxins, both content accounted for about 90% of the total amount. In Lingshan Bay, Yellow Sea, OA and DTX1 fluctuated more, appeared a few of peak, similar, and reached the maximum in July 17 th and October 2nd, respectively, 196.07 ng/g resin and 62.64 ng/g resin; the seasonal variation of PTX2 was obvious and the content from June to October was higher, reaching the maximum, 250.99 ng/g resin, in July 17th; from July to the middle of August, the content of PTX2 was higher than that of OA, influenced by the growth environment; DSP fluctuated much and reached the maximum, 491.42 ng/g resin, in July 17 th. In Haizhou Bay, Yellow Sea, OA, DTX1 and PTX2 varied seasonally; OA reached the maximum, 605.96 ng/g resin, in September 2nd keeping higher from August to December; DTX1 reached the maximum, 106.41 ng/g resin, in August 26 th keeping higher from July to October; PTX2 reached the maximum, 341.26 ng/g resin, in August 4th keeping above 198 ng/g resin; from April 12 th to August 18 th, the content of PTX2 was higher than that of OA, influenced by the growth environment as that did in Lingshan Bay; DSP varied seasonally and reached the maximum, 677.34 ng/g resin, in September 2nd keeping higher from August y to October. The variation of DSP had obvious annual and regional differences in seawater of Yellow Sea. This paper had shown a positive correlation between the content of OA, DTX1 and PTX2 and the temperature in seawater. This paper was on analysis of DSP in shellfish periodically collected from Lingshan Bay and Haizhou Bay of Yellow Sea. The detected toxins of different shellfish were same, which was OA, DTX1 and PTX2, no DTX2; by comparing the positive rate and over-standard rate of OA, DTX1 and PTX2 in shellfish, DSP in Haizhou Bay found over-standard sample of PTX2, polluted severely; the content of DSP was in spring and summer. The variation of DSP had obvious interspecific, regional and seasonal differences in shellfish of Yellow Sea. Mytilus edulis and Chlamys Farreri had the higher of OA, DTX1, then Crassostrea gigas, while PTX2 was opposite. This paper was on free and esterified OA, DTX1 and the esterified content reached 27.57% and 40.74% of of the total。...
