| Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of auricular aucupressure on preoperative anxietyã€heart rate (HR)ã€blood pressure (BP)ã€blood cortisol in hysteromyoma patients undergoing laparoscope surgery. Thus to seek an efficaciousã€noninvasive and easy rehabilitation method to reduce the preoperative anxiety, and then provide a instructional nursing method for the gynaecological laparoscope surgery. Methods 100 patients undergoing planned laparoscope surgery was collected from gynaecology department of people’s hospital of Fujian province from March 2009 to September 2010,all the patients were randomly allocated to two groups of equal size(n=50).The experimental group was treated by auricular aucupressure at the points on shenmenã€pizhixiaã€xin, and the control group was treated by three sham points.Anxiety level was measured by SAS pre intervention and by SAI post intervention.HRã€BP and blood cortisol in both groups were also investigated. Data were analysised by SPSS14.0 system software.Result1. SAS and SAI had significantly relationship, correlation coefficient were 0.712.The Kappa value was 0.651, indicating moderate agreement between the two instruments.2. After intervention, HRã€SBPã€blood cortisol were raised in both groups, and there was no significant variety(P>0.05) in experimental group, but they were raised manifestly (P<0.05) in control group.DPB were changed not obviously in both groups after intervention(P>0.05);Compared with control group, the level of anxiety was decreased remarkably(P<0.01) and HRã€SBPã€blood cortisol were reduced obviously(P<0.05)in experimental group after intervention. Conclusion Although there was no obviously change in DBP,the level of anxiety and HRã€SBPã€blood cortisol were significantly decreased in hysteromyoma patients undergoing laparoscope surgery after auricular aucupressure, demonstrating that auricular aucupressure was a simpleã€efficacious method to alleviate the preoperative anxiety. |
