Objects To understand the epidemiological characteristics of measles in the NingxiaHui Autonomous Region at the present stage, the age of children with measles incidencesurvey and analysis of influencing factors of school-age children; the Ningxia HuiAutonomous Region MMR vaccination; evaluation of the immune status of healthy people,and eventually to my area of measles prevention and control strategies are discussed andrecommendations. Methods Using retrospective study method, with the Ningxia HuiAutonomous Region Center for Disease Control and prevention of epidemic situation ofmeasles surveillance system reported2006~2010measles surveillance case as the object ofstudy was descriptive epidemiological study; case control study of the age of children measlesincidence factors; the coverage rate of measles vaccine monitoring (routine immunizationcoverage rate monitoring, investigation of vaccination rate and antibody level of healthypopulation in monitoring) I understand the true level of serum antibodies to measles, measlesvaccine vaccination. Results In the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region during2006to2010average annual incidence was3.52/100000, lower than the5average annual incidence of22.77/100000; Shi Zuishan city and Yinchuan city the measles incidence average annualreport the highest incidence; the incidence of measles in children under1years of age foradult, also have occurred; the incidence of measles in spring and summer seasons have seen,the incidence of measles occurred; common in non-immunized history and immune history isunknown, some part of the cases had a history of measles vaccination. The case control studyon effect of age of children measles morbidity factors by chi-square test, hospital exposurehistory, history of exposure to risk factors of measles patients is, the OR values were10.5and 9.867; immune history of measles, mother of measles vaccination history was the protectivefactor. From2006to2010in school-age children immunization coverage rate of measlesvaccine investigation shows, Ningxia measles vaccination rates are maintained at more than90%, and year after year rose slightly to95%vaccination rate standard. With the remarkableimprovement of immunization coverage rate of measles vaccine, measles in healthypopulation in the serological antibody level determination showed2010, measles antibodypositive rate reached97.85%, the protection rate reached90.98%, to better protect the healthof the people,0years old children and a group of20-24old adult measles antibody protectionrate is relatively low, lower than the overall the crowd of90.98%. Conclusions Ningxia inthe past5years the epidemiological characteristics of measles in mainly: measles incidencepatterns is sporadic and outbreak of measles patients in local coexist; the age of children has arising trend; the time distribution is more common in spring and summer seasons, haveoccurred. In may influence the age of children measles morbidity factors, in addition tomeasles vaccination of timeliness, as far as possible about hospital infection on the incidenceof influence. Investigation on immune level of measles in healthy population: women ofreproductive age on antibody level of measles is caused by low infants at a young age in thefetal antibody level low reason. Therefore, Ningxia needs to maintain high immunizationcoverage rate of measles vaccine, strengthen measles monitoring, controlling infection inhospital and other measures to accelerate the control and elimination of measles.
