Objective To evaluate the Short-term efficacy of photodynamic therapy combined withtriamcinolone acetonide for choroidal neovascularization in age-related maculardegeneration(AMD), pathological myopia(PM) and idiopathic CNV.Methods Comparative study of the multi-factor test. This study include five kinds offactors may affect visual acuity recovery PDT treatment, including the pathogeny:AMD(PCV), PM, ICNV; preoperative initial vision:<0.1,0.1~0.3,>0.3;course:<1,1~3,>3mo; lesion GLD; fundus fluorescein angiography classification: classic dominant type, with minimal classic, occult. Use SPSS statistical software, and after1-6months of bestcorrected visual acuity(BCVA) change multiple regression analysis on PDT.71cases(82eyes)diagnosed as CNV were treated with PDT, and the follow-up time was6months. By clinicalobservation of the best corrected visual acuity, fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA),indocyanine green angiography(ICGA) and optic coherence tomography(OCT), the changesof visual function, the size and leakage of CNV lesion, as well as central macular thicknessbefore and after PDT were compared to evaluate the therapeutic effects of PDT. If macularedema, periocular injection of triamcinolone acetonide20mg.Results39cases(46eyes) of AMD,11cases (13eyes) of PM and21cases(23eyes) ofidiopathic CNV were included in the study. The mean times of PDT treatment for AMD, PMand idiopathic CNV were1.15,1.09and1.04respectively. After PDT, in AMD, PM andidiopathic CNV group, the rates of BCVA which improved or kept stable were89.1%,92.3%å'Œ91.3%respectively; the rates of decrease or disappearance of fluorescein leakage were89.1%,92.3%and95.6%respectively; the rates of reduction of intra-and subretinal fluid were79.4%,90.5%and88.1%respectively.Conclusions PDT could improve or stabilize the visual function of AMD, PM andidiopathetic CNV patients, as well as control the progression of disease. It is safe andeffective for CNV patients in the short and medium follow-up period. Hemisphere aftertriamcinolone acetonide injection can effectively inhibit choroidal neovascularization and improve the macular retinal edema, high security, low complication rate. Photodynamictherapy treatment in a timely manner, the visual acuity <0.1choroidal neovascular diseasesstill has a good effect...
