Purpose: Qinghai (Xining), Medium and high altitude geographic area,Alzheimer’s disease (Alzheimer’s disease, AD) patients include (mild to moderate)study bilateral hippocampal strthis topic using conventional3.0T high resolutionmagnetic resonance imaging technology,changes in the characteristics of themeasuring bilateral hippocampal volume and hippocampaucture,l structure protonmagnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS), and to explore the changes in thehippocampus in patients with AD and AD patients imaging metabolites relationshipwith hippocampal pathology.Methods:Select Xining, Qinghai region30cases of elderly people living in theHan AD group (mild to moderate) and30cases in the control group (NC),Betweenthe ages of60to83years, the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), is one ofcommon international scale, the evaluation of AD is important.In addition to applyingMMSE scale, but in terms of neuropsychological examination was also performed tocheck ADL scale, while also using Hachiski ischemic index scale, to excludefalse-positive results caused by vascular dementia diseases on the subject.Check theinstrument selection3.0T high resolution Skyra type MRI apparatus, remove organicintracranial lesions (vascular lesions, neoplastic lesions),Re-scan routine hippocampushippocampus volume measurement, sagittal image scanning,Finally SV-PRESS-30single voxel acquisition, After scanning, with the Siemens Skyra dedicated processingsoftware bilateral hippocampal volume were measured,Also observed coronal T2flairbilateral hippocampal signal sequence, and then get the change metabolites protonmagnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) under the curve of metabolites NAA, Cr, MI, Cho, Glx, and then calculate the area under the peak ratios: NAA/Cr, MI/Cr,Cho/Cr, Glx/Crr, MI/NAA.Results: Using high-field3.0T high-resolution MRI of the AD group (mild tomoderate) and the control group (NC) for inspection, After statistical analysis foundthat, AD group bilateral hippocampal volume was significantly smaller.AD groupandNC group in1H-MRS metabolite analysis, found that metabolites (NAA/Cr,MI/Cr, Cho/Cr, Glx/Cr, MI/NAA) ratio has a significant correlation.NC groupand the AD group hippocampus metabolites NAA/Cr, MI/Cr, Cho/Cr, MI/NAA,p <0.05statistically significant, and Glx/Cr ratios were statistically analyzed p>0.05,not statistically significant.Conclusion:3.0T MRI imaging techniques can clearly show the AD patientsreduced hippocampal volume, and from the form, changing the signal, the diagnosisof age-related changes in the brain plays an important role in guiding.Showabnormalities can be measured noninvasively hippocampal region metabolites, mildto moderate diagnosis and monitoring of treatment of AD has important significancefrom the1H-MRS analysis.
