Objective:Research on prostate cancer and hyperplasia of prostate tissue inHuman phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein (HPEBP4) expression and its significanceMaterials and Methods:From fujian Medical university Union Hospital in May2005to March2012prostate cancer radical prostatectomy or biopsy diagnosed withprostate cancer in the86cases, aged56-86, the average age of72,86cases ofspecimens according to the pathological grading (Gleason grading) level3:21cases ofhigh differentiation, differentiation in25cases,40cases of low differentiation;Clinical staging the TMN staging system for prostate cancer (AJCC,2002),10casesof T1phase, T2stage18cases,42cases, T3T416cases all preoperativechemotherapy and radiotherapy of hormone therapy has not been used the otherselected40cases of benign prostate tissue, as compared to normal prostate cancercases of benign prostatic hyperplasia random as for department of pathology, the firstin our hospital。By using immunohistochemical sp method of dyeing,86cases of PCA wasdetected in40cases of hyperplasia of prostate tissue paraffin section and paraffinsection in HPEBP4expression.Collect and analyze among cancer patients withpathologic grading clinical pathological data, such as the clinical stage, discuss theexpression and significance of HPEBP4in prostate cancerResults:1. HPEBP4positive reactant in the cell membrane and cytoplasm,HPEBP4expressed in prostate cancer group were84.89%(73/86),17.5%(7/40) ofhyperplasia of prostate tissue, there are significant differences in statistics between two groups (P <o.05) expression rate of prostate tissue significantly higher than thatof hyperplasia of prostate tissue2. In the prostate cancer specimens HPEBP4positive expression rate of poorlydifferentiated group was obviously higher than that of high differentiation group, thedifferences are significant (P <o.05), HPEBP4positive expression is closely relatedto the clinical stage,73cases of prostate cancer HPEBP4protein positive expressionof specimens, A+B) positive rate64.25%(18/28), phase C+D positive rate94.83%(55/58), phase C+D stage expression positive rate is higher than that of A+B stageexpression positive rate, P <0.05; HPEBP4positive expression with increased higherGleason score clinical staging of tumor showed a trend of risingConclusion: HPEBP4expressed in prostate cancer rate is significantly higher thanthe expression rate of benign prostatic hyperplasia, hint HPEBP4excessiveexpression in prostate cancer may play an important role in the occurrence anddevelopment. And in the analysis of clinical and pathological data of prostate cancer, the expression of HPEBP4and leading cancer associated gland pathological gradingand clinical staging, HPEBP4positive expression with increased higher Gleason scoreclinical staging of tumor showed a trend of rising shows HPEBP4expression quantitymay affect the development of prostate cancer, the expression of HPEBP4can helpthe diagnosis of prostate cancer, and can judge the prognosis of prostate cancer in acertain extent, and suggest possible HPEBP4as a target for the treatment of prostatecancer...
