The Clinical Factors Research Of The Correlation Between Serum PSA Levels And Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the correlation between tPSA、fPSA and total volume of thepatient’s prostate (Prostate Volume, PV), prostate transitional zone volume (Pros-tate Transition Zone Volume, TZV), age and IPSS (Inte-rnational Prostate Syste-rm Score, I-PSS).METHODS:Retrospective analysis229patients’ clinic dataing of Urology, Affiliated Un-ion Hospital of Fujian Medical University from February2012to December2013, Depending on the level of serum tPSA subjects were divided into threegroups:A group is tPSA＞10ng/m1, B Group is4ng/m1≤tPSA≤10ng/m1, Cgroup is tPSA＜4ng/m1,Using SPSS19.0software to execute the data analysis,in each group were analyzed using linear correlation of serum tPSA and fPSAand,PV, TZV,patient age, IPSS scores were calculated.RESULTS:1. tPSA＞10ng/m1,tPSA, fPSA and PV was no correlation,(r equals0.045and0.213,P＞0.05);tPSA and TZV was no correlation,(r equals-0.012,P＞0.05);fPSA and TZV was positively correlated(r equals0.301，P<0.05); tPSA andage was no correlation,(r equals-0.093，P＞0.05);fPSA and age was positivelycorrelated(r equals0.61,P＜0.05);tPSA, fPSA and I-PSS score was no correlation(r equals0.164and0.082,P＞0.05).2.4ng/m1≤tPSA≤10ng/m1,tPSA, fPSA and PV was positively correlated(requals0.225and0.347,P＜0.05and P<0.01);tPSA, fPSA and TZV was positiv-ely correlated(r equals0.226and0.384,P＜0.05and P<0.01);tPSA, fPSA andage was no correlation(r equals0.179and0.289,P>0.05);tPSA, fPSA and I-PSSscore was was no correlation,(requals0.013and0.057，P>0.05). 3.tPSA＜4ng/m1,tPSA, fPSA and PV was positively correlated(r equals0.605and0.668,P<0.05);tPSA, fPSA and TZV was positively correlated,(requals0.677and0.670,P<0.05);tPSA, fPSA and age was no correlation(r equals0.000and0.142,P<0.05);tPSA and I-PSS score was positively correlated(r equals0.222, P<0.05),fPSA and I-PSS score was no correlation(r equals0.097,P>0.05)CONCLUSIONS:The results of this study shows,when tPSA>10ng/m1,tPSA,fPSA and PV,tPSA and tzv,tPSA and age,tPSA,fPSA and I-PSS score was no correlation.fPSAand TZV,age was positively correlated.4ng/m1≤tPSA≤10ng/ml,tPSA, fPSAand PV, TZV was positively correlated,and no correlation with ages and IPSSscore.tPSA＜4ng/m1,tPSA, fPSA and PV, TZV, tPSA and I-PSS score waspositively correlated.tPSA,fPSA and age,I-PSS score,fPSA and I-PSS score wasno correlation.
