Purpose:Human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3cells intervene by Tan-IIA, to observe its effection on pancreatic cancer BxPC-3cells, cell proliferation and apoptosis.Methods:In the present study,the cytotoxicity of tanshinone IIA(Tan-IIA) in human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3cells was evaluated by MTT assay. After intervene by Tan-IIA, measurement A570by microplate, to observer the inhibition on BxPC-3cell was calculated cell proliferation rate and half inhibitory concentration.Cell cycle and the early and late apoptosis analysis of BxPC-3cells treated with Tan-IIA was performed by flow cytometry (FACS). Observation of Tanshinone II A on human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3cell cycle and apoptosisResult: sub-G1phase.Conclusion:Tan-IIA could significantly inhibit the BxPC-3cell growth by a time-and dose-dependent. Treatment with Tan-IIA can induce BxPC-3cell G1arrest.
