Objectives:1.Investigation on Workers’Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior.Through the investigation of workers exposed to occupational hazards in highly occupational hazard enterprises (hereinafter abbreviated as workers), this dissertation has obtained related information of workers’ occupation health knowledge and cognitive behavior, and tries to get a comprehensive understanding of the related health knowledge and cognitive behavior of the workers in highly occupational hazard enterprises, and to provide evidence for the prevention of occupation disease.2.Investigation on Training Effect of Workers’Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior. On the base of experiences concluded from previous occupation health training, this dissertation tries to explore the effectiveness and feasibility of the way for workers’ occupation health training, that is, professional occupation health administrators, as special carriers, shoulder the responsibility of occupation health-related knowledge training to workers in highly occupational-disease-inductive enterprises.Methods1. Subjects(1)Subjects of Workers’ Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior. The workers in84highly occupational hazard enterprises in Jiaxing Economic and Technology Development Zone are taken as research subjects. In the research,25enterprises among84enterprises are randomly selected, and in each selected enterprise10workers are selected to answer questionnaires.(2)Subjects of Training Effect of Workers’Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior. In the Economic and Technology Development Zone, the workers of10top highly occupational hazard enterprises are selected for the research. After the training,120workers engaged in the occupational hazardenterprises in the above-mentioned enterprises are selected to answer questionnaires, and the results of this phase will be compared with the results of last phase.2. Methods(1) Investigation on Workers’Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior.Firstly,"Questionnaire of Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior for Workers Engaged in the occupational hazard enterprises " was designed. Secondly, the investigators and quality control administrators were conducted in a investigation.(2)Investigation of Training Effect of Workers’Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior.Firstly, the workers in the10above-mentioned enterprises were investigated were by Questionnaire of Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive Behavior for Workers Engaged in the occupational hazard enterprises,; secondly, afterthe occupation health administrators in the10above-mentioned enterprises were trained, the ordinary workers in these enterprises were trained by them; thirdly, the trained workers were investigated with the Questionnaire of Occupation Health Knowledge and Cognitive behavior for Workers Engaged in the occupational hazard enterprisesagam.Results:1.Workers with junior middle school education or even lower account for54.8%, which reached more than a half. It shows the relatively low education.2.The longest period for workers engaging in relevant work was26years, and the shortest was less than half a year, which means the average time of workers engaging in relevant work was8.24years. The longest period for workers engaging in the current work was14years and the shortest is less than half a year, which meant the average time of workers engaging in current work was2.23years. Workers engaging in the relevant worked with less than5years working experiences account for41.5%, which were in the majority. Workers engaging in the current work with less than3years working experiences account for82.3%of all investigated workers, which were in the majority. All these data indicated that the workforce is very mobile.3.According to worker’s answers in the investigation, the main sources of occupation health knowledge for them were:the media such as TV, newspaper, broadcasting (59.7%), Internet (25.4%), enterprises’bulletin board, publicity materials and centralized training (10.9%), and chat (4.0%).4.According to worker’s answers in investigation, only6workers were familiar with the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupation Disease, and accounted for2.4%.110workers have no idea of the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupation Disease, and accounted for44.4%. Ninty-six workers had not got any training of occupation health knowledge, and accounted for38.7%. The accuracy rate of workers’ knowledge of occupation disease and its prevention (80.77%±14.14%) was obviously higher than the accuracy rate of their cognition and behavior (69.98%±11.67%), and there was statistical difference between them (P<0.01) 5.There were no statistical difference among the basic situation of the labors in10key occupational hazard enterprises before and after the trainings.6.After training, the accuracy rates of only6questions (i.e."Is attention to diet helpful to occupation disease prevention?""Is enough rest helpful to occupation disease prevention?""Does working in spite of illness lead to occupation disease?""Do you use personal protective equipment?""What is occupational contraindication?" and "What are you supposed to do if you suffer occupation disease?") show no statistical difference (P>0.05). Except these6questions, there is a statistical difference (P<0.05) of accuracy rates of workers’ answers to the questions about health consciousness, occupation disease prevention, occupation health examination and pre job training, correct use of personal protective equipment, air pollution in the work of, skin contamination prevention, occupational taboos and identification, diagnosis and controversy of occupation disease. This shows an obviously improved tendency.Conclusion:1.The investigation shows that, the situation is fraught as workers’knowledge of occupation health is inadequate, which is mainly because occupation health training in enterprises is inefficient. Therefore it is urgent to improve the occupation health training in enterprises.2.This research shows that, the professional occupation health administrator training mode (i.e. At first, occupation health administrators get direct training, and then they are responsible for the occupation health training of ordinary workers in enterprises) can effectively improve the workers’ occupation health knowledge. The government departments of occupation health supervision should strengthen the administrative management of enterprises’occupation health training, and establish occupation health training system for cultivating professional occupation health administrators, so as to ensure the effective occupation health training in enterprises.
