Objective: To investigate the expression of MCT2in Hepatocellular Carcinoma and theeffects of MCT2overexpression and small interference RNA on the ability of proliferationin Hepatocarcinoma cell line. Methods:Investigate the expression level of MCT2between hepatocellular carcinoma andpara-carcinoma tissue by RT-PCR and Real-time PCR. Synthesized specific siRNA andconstructed plasmid PcDNA3.1b-MCT2were separately transfected into cells for thesilence and over-expression. Western blot was used to investigate the transfectionefficiency. The ability of proliferation were were analyzed by CCK-8assay.Results:The expression of MCT2mRNA in the HCC tissues was significantly higher thanadjacent tissues. The ability of proliferation is obviously declined by transfected siRNAinto HCC cell line, and increased in overexpression cells which were transfectedPcDNA3.1b-MCT2plasmid.Conclusions: Application siRNA interference against MCT2gene can inhibit theproliferation on Hepatocarcinoma cells. MCT2gene in Hepatocarcinoma treatment maybecome a new target.
