Isodon excisa (Maxin.) Hara, also named Gui Ye Cao,Gou Ri Cao. They are effect of againsting tumour, antibacterial, antiviral and immunoregulation, antioxidation, and on the cardiovascular system. Clinical application mainly for stomachic, deworming tablets, used in the treatment of injuries, chuangdu and diminish inflammation, fever internal and treating enteritis, diarrhea, malaria, sore throats flat conductor inflammation, etc.Although the Isodon excia reported a lot of chemical constituents and pharmacological activities, but its research is not comprehensive.This paper systematically studies on Isodon excia of the Maoer Mountain in Yanji. The dried leaves of Isodon excia were extracted with solvent by using ultrasonic. We applied liquid-liquid extraction, MCI column chromatography, normal and reverse column chromatography and semipreparative HPLC. We obtained16compounds.And based on the physical properties and spectral data of compounds to determine the structure of the five compounds.All the fractions and compounds were investigated by radical scavenging activity test and tyrosinase inhibitory activity test in this paper. The results of activity tests showed that the most of fractions exhibited strong activity. Compounds3、4、5、7、10showed remarkable scavenging activity toward DPPH. Inhibition rate is99.8%,95.7%,78.8%,88.3%and92.4%, respectively. It can provide experimental basis for antioxidant and anti-aging drug lead compounds.
