| ObjectiveTo explore the effect of two treatment strategies for osteoporofic vertebral compressive fracturesMethods80patients with osteoporofic vertebral compressive fractures treated by conservative therapy or Percutaneous vertebroplasty are prospectively analyized. They are followed-up at the time point of one week, one month, and three months after treatment. The scores of VAS, JOA, PSQI are recorded every time and the clinical effect was evaluated with SC standard. The number of cases of refracture are recorded in one year. Statistical analyses were performed to compare the informations.ResultsThe scores of JOA, VAS, PSQI at all time points of two groups are analyzed. The result show that the scores are significant differences at the time point of one week and one month (P<0.01). The scores are not significant differences at the time point of pretherapy and three month (P>0.05). Comparison of therapeatic effect are not significant differences judged by SC standard after three months (P>0.05). There are not refracture in three months of the two groups. The cases of adjacent vertebral body refracture in one year of two groups are analyzed, and the result show that there are not significant differences between the two groups (P>0.05).ConclusionOperation group outperform Conservative group in the effects of short term pain relief and improvement of the quality of sleep, but it shows similar efficacy after three months. Rates of adjacent vertebral body refracture do not rise after Percutaneous vertebroplasty in one year. |
