| Objective:To validate the differential expressions and meaningof C/EBPβ and COX-2protein in patients with nasal polyps.Methods:First,the expressions of C/EBPβand COX-2in all the samples were investigated by Western-Blotting,the localization and expression of the proteinin in nasal mucosa tissue cells were detected by Lmmunohistochemical technique. Meanwhile, the correlation analysis between C/EBPβand COX-2were carried out.Results:(1) The expression of COX-2in tissue of incipient nasal polyps is higher than that of normal nasal mucosa (P<0.05),The expression of COX-2in tissue of recurrent nasalpolyps is higher than that of incipientnormal nasal mucosa and nasal polyps (P<0.05).(2) C/EBPβexpressed in incipient nasal polyps than normal nasal mucosa was significantly enhanced(p<0.05).C/EBPβexpressed in recurrent nasal polyps group than the normal nasal mucosa, incipient nasal polyps was significantly enhanced(3)COX-2and C/EBPβprotein were mainly expressed in the nasal mucosa epithelium and glandular epithelium in the cytoplasm and cell membrane and inflammatory cells;C/EBPβprotein were mainly expressed in the nasal mucosa epithelium and glandular epithelium in the cytoplasm and cell nucleus and inflammatory cells.The expression of COX-2and C/EBPβ in each group were positively correlated.Discussion and Conclusions:(1) The expression of COX-2and C/EBP βin tissue of incipient nasal polyps and recurrent nasal polyps was significantly enhanced,which Prompted cox-2and C/EBP βpolyps plays an important role in the incidence and recurrence of nasal polyps.(2) Cox-2and C/EBPβin recurrent nasal polyps organizations are both high expression, and positively correlated relationship; Both may as the objective index of the detection of recurrent nasal polyps. |
