Serum Level Of IL-17A And VEGF In Patients Of Psoriasis Vulgaris And Its Correlation With PASI Score.

ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of IL-17A and VEGF in the serum of patients with psoriasis vulgaris and its corrrelationship with psoriasis area and severive index.To observed the efficacy of the type of psoriatic vulgaris patients with blood heat with the treatment of Liangxuexiaofeng Tang.Methods1.The expression of IL-17A and VEGF in the serum of the patients group and the control group was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).2.The patients were treated with Liangxuexiaofeng Tang (the Piyan2nd) two bags oral, twice a day at morning and night.We set4weeks for a course of8weeks treatment.We observed the dibersification of PASI score in patients and the expression of IL-17A in the serum of the patientsResults1.The result is that the expression of IL-17A in the serum of the psoriatic vulgaris patients have significant statistical difference from the expression of the control (P＜0.05).Patients of the progressive stage and the stationary stage have significant statistical difference in the expression of IL-17A in the serum (P＜0.05)2.There is a significant difference between the psoriatic vulgaris patients and the control group in the expression of VEGF in the serum(P＜0.05). The expression of VEGF in the serum of the progressive stage and the stationary stage also have statistical difference(P＜0.05).3.The expression of IL-17A and VEGF in the serum of the psoriatic vulgaris patients have the significant corrrelationship with PASI score(r=0.355, P＜0.05and r=0.177, P＜0.05).4.After8weeks treatment, the total efficiency is73.07%.There is a significant difference of the PASI score and the the expression of IL-17A in the serum between treated for8weeks and before treatment (P＜0.05). Conclusions1.The expression of IL-17A/VEGFin the serum of the psoriatic vulgaris patients have significant statistical difference from the expression of the control,.Patients of the progressive stage and the stationary stage also have significant statistical difference in the expression of IL-17A/VEGF in the serum.Moreover, the expression of IL-17A/VEGF in the serum have the significant corrrelationship with PASI score,and the corrrelationship between the expression of IL-17A in the serum and PASI score is apparently higher than the expression of VEGF.We can speculated that the expression levels of serum IL-17A is more representative of the severity of the disease.Maybe it can be used as an indicator to judge the severity and treatment efficacy.2.Liangxuexiaofeng Tang is safe and effective in the treatment of the type of psoriatic vulgaris patients with blood heat.
