ObjectiveTo investigate the difference of rCBFivimand rCBFaslin the aged group that have mildcognitive impairment and that have normal cognition, and to evaluate the value of theintravoxel incoherent motion and arterial spin labeling in mild cognitive impairmentdiagnosis.Methods20MCI patients and20individuals with normal cognition were chosen, the IVIM andASL were performed in all the subjects, the two groups being matched with gender, ageand education. The value of rCBFivimand rCBFaslwere measured and calculated in the areaof both sides of frontal, parietal, occipital lobe, temporal lobe and the hippocampus.ResultsCompared with NC group, the rCBFivimand rCBFaslwere significantly decreased inthe frontal, parietal, temporal lobe of MCI group (P<0.01),and the rCBFivimand rCBFaslvalue were decreased in the area of hippocampus(P<0.05).ConclusionThe intravoxel incoherent motion technique and arterial spin labeling are helpful forthe diagnosis of MCI, and they are an useful tool for assessment of cerebral blood flow inpatient with MCI.
