Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To explor the diagnostic value of endothelial function in patients with the Type2Diabetes Mellitus by brachial artery vascular Doppler Ultrasound, and the relationship between the endothelial function and carotid artery IMT.Method:A total of107patients with T2DM were selected in our hospital from october2012to may2013, and including32cases of simple T2DM(B group) and45cases combined with hyperlipidemia (C group),30healthy volunteers as normal control group (A group). All cases were detecetd the basic diameters, congested diameters and buccal nitroglycerin’s diameters of brachial artery, and carotid artery IMT by Siemens Acuson Antares S2000color Doppler ultrasound. The fasting blood serum of FBG, TG, TC, LDL-C and HDL-C were measured.Result:Compared with the A group, the serum FBG, TC, TG and LDL-C values were significantly difference in B and C groups (p<0.05).Compared with the B and Cgroups, the△D1%values were markedly lower than that the A group, there were significantly difference among three groups (P<0.05), and it was more lower in C group than that the B group.Compared with the A group and B, C groups, the D2and△D2%were no significant statistical differences (P>0.05).Compared with the B and A groups, carotid artery IMT was higher in C group, there were significantly difference (P<0.05), and it was higher in B group than that the A group. Conclusion:Determine of FMD in brachial artery by Doppler Ultrasound can early evalate the endothelial function in patients with the Type2DM. The jnjury of endothelium functions in brachial artery was early than that the carotid IMT change, and it showed that injury of endothelium functions was occurence in early stage of patients with the2-DM...
