Clinical Research Of Huici Combined With Rehabilitation Affected On The Upper Extremity Dysfunction Due To Stroke

Objective:Movement disorder due to stroke influence the quality of patients’life seriously,and function of lower extremity recovers better than the upper extremity.People have been working on a new treatments that can improve the function of upper extremity after stroke faster and more effective.Currently acupuncture combined with rehabilitation is one of the hotspots,and Huici is a traditional needling in ancient China. This topic provides scientific method to the diagnosis, treatment and determine the efficacy of upper extremity dysfunction after stroke,by researching the theoretical study, clinical observation of Huici combined with rehabilitation improve the upper extremity dysfunction of stroke patients. Simultaneously,contrast with ordinary acupuncture combined with rehabilitation and simple rehabilitation to study the clinical efficacy of Huici combined with rehabilitation on the upper extremity dysfunction of stroke patients.Methods:Theoretical Study systematically expounded the understanding of ancient and the modern to stroke. Focuses on methods such as acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy progress on post-stroke upper extremity dysfunction in recent years,and the operating characteristics and clinical application of Huici.Clinical study selected90stroke patients with upper extremity dysfunction were randomly divided into three groups(N=30):Huici combined with rehabilitation,ordinary acupuncture combined with rehabilitation and simple rehabilitation(later referred to as Huici group,ordinary acupuncture group and simple rehabilitation group).All patients were assessed with Fugl-Meyer motor assessment(FMA),Neurological Dicifit Score(NDS),Barthel index(BI), Visual Analogue Score(VAS),before the therapy and after the therapy.Result:There were no significant differences in the seores between the three groups before the therapy(P>0.05).After2months,the scores of each group in FMA,NDS,BI improved significantly compared with the scores before therapy(P<0.01),and the efficacy of Huici group significantly better than acupuncture group and simple rehabilitation group(P<0.01). In terms of improving upper extremity pain, Huici group and acupuncture group are both improved significantly compared with the previous,and the effect was significantly better than simple rehabilitation group(P<0.01). However, the effect for pain relief of simple rehabilitation group is not significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:①Huici combined with rehabilitation,ordinary acupuncture combined with rehabilitation and simple rehabilitation all can be effective in improving upper extremity dysfunction and ADL. From the clinical effect observed after treatment, Huici combined with rehabilitation was significantly better than the latter two groups, worthy of clinical application;②In this study, a number of scales including FMA,DNS and BI,are used to assess the recovery of upper extremity function. This method Increased the scientific of the research and the credibility of the results;③In terms of improving upper extremity pain, Huici combined with rehabilitation and ordinary acupuncture combined with rehabilitation are both have significant effect,and there was no significant difference between these two groups.But the effect was significantly better than simple rehabilitation group;④The method of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation more significantly than simple rehabilitation in the efficacy of upper extremity dysfunction, combination of the two methods have synergistic effect;⑤Huici has a lot of advantages,such as simple, effective, high efficiency, We can say that Huici is an effective treatment to upper extremity dysfunction.
