A Research Of Chinese Medicine Documents Unearthed In Turpan

Since the late19th century, Russia, Germany, Japan, Britain and some other countries’ expeditions went to turpan. From the local ruins of ancient city, residents, temple caves and ancient tombs,they unearthed a large number of documents which provide a reliable material for the Turfan learning, and the documents of traditional Chinese Medicine as a part of the data that has unique practical significance. It is help to add, modify, and amplify TCM ancient book content at the same time. It carries the special usage of some drugs for the current clinical significance. In addition, as an important part of Turpan learning, it is a precious cultural wealth, reflecting the ancient people’s social customs and habits. As for Turpan learning, it is valuable.However, due to poor integrity, decentralized collection and some other reasons, the research progress of Turfan unearthed TCM documents is far less than Dunhuang’s. And the lack of summarizing research, is not only conducive to in-depth research, but also block the international communication on Turpan learning. How to take advantage of these documents in this limited condition has become a top priority. The systematic work is imminent. This paper will emphasize on the following aspects:1.The collection of documents by using catalog books;2.The recollation of a part of the medical documents;3. The collation of new finding documents;4.The research and discussion of some medical documents.It aims to improve the system of Turfan unearthed documents as much as possible, enrich the Turpan learning.
