| Objective: To study the expression patterns of Foxq1and E-cadherinin colorectal cancer, clarify clinical pathological relationship between themand colorectal cancer.Methods:62specimens were collected that have been diagnosed ascolorectal cancer since March2012to September2012at Department ofGeneral Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing MedicalUniversity. Using immunohistochemistry methods, expression level andlocation of Foxq1and E-cadherin were detected originally. Then westernblot was performed to determine accurate expression level of Foxq1andE-cadherin. At last, we analyzed the clinical pathological relationshipbetween Foxq1&E-cadherin and colorectal cancer.Results: The positive expression of Foxq1and E-cadherin were locatedin cytoplasm. Compared with normal tissues, the expression of foxq1wassignificantly increased in colon carcinoma tissues and mild increased inpara-carcinoma tissues. However the expression of E-cadherin exhibited adecreased tendency from normal tissues to para-carcinoma tissues and colon carcinoma tissues. The expression of Foxq1and E-cadherin have nodifferences between age, gender and the size of tumor (P>0.05), but there aresignificant differences between differentiation, Duck stage and lymphaticmetastasis in patients and non tumor patients (P<0.05). Foxq1andE-cadherin appeared in an obvious negative correlation (P<0.05).Conclusion: Foxq1and E-cadherion did involve in the beginning anddevelopment of colorectal cancer. It can be used as one of the multipleindexes for testing colorectal cancer at early stage. It may provide thetheoretical basis on curing colorectal cancer and developing newpersonalized drugs. |
