The Clinical And Experimental Research Of Ruanganjiangzhi Capsule In The Treatment Of Stable Angina Pectoris

Objective:Ruanganjiangzhi capsule is a homemade of our hospital. It has good curative effect to improve the situations of the patients with coronary heart disease angina pectoris. But its mechanism is not very clear. Therefore, this study detects its possible mechanism of improving symptoms of stable angina via animal and clinical trial.Method:1.Experimental research:To mould hyperlipidemia model,40male SD rats were fed with high fat food. After molding, the rats were randomly divided into5groups, control group, atherosis (AS) group, Ruanganjiangzhi capsule group and combination group. We test the serum lipid parameters, CRP and liver function parameters after12weeks. And we also observe the changes of the aortic morphology with light microscope; To feed health mice fed Ruanganjiangzhi capsule, observing the mice diet, defecation and urination, active, skin and hair, respiratory, central nervous system, changes in activities of the limbs or for death.2. Clinical trials:45cases of patients with stable angina were selected and divided into three groups randomly; each group has15cases given oral simvastatin, Ruanganjiangzhi capsule and their combinations. After30days, via observing the improvement of clinical symptoms and testing the serum lipid, CRP and liver function parameters, the mechanisms were detected.Results:Ruanganjiangzhi capsule can decrease the cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein and CRP levels of the AS model control group rats obviously, and has the trend in increasing high density lipoprotein levels. And Ruanganjiangzhi capsule combined with simvastatin is superior to Ruanganjiangzhi capsule and simvastatin alone. Ruanganjiangzhi capsule or combination with lipid-lowering drug simvastatin can effectively hinder the pathological process of atherosclerosis, and the combination is better. Ruanganjiangzhi capsule has no adverse reactions such as liver damage in the treatment of atherosclerosis rats. While Ruanganjiangzhi capsule has obvious curative effect in improving chest distress, cardiodynia and other symptoms in patients with stable angina. It can decrease human serum triglyceride, cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, CRP index, and increase high-density lipoprotein cholesterol index.Conclusions:Ruanganjiangzhi capsule can significantly adjust the AS model rats blood lipid and CRP levels, and it can effectively hinder the pathological process of atherosclerosis. Combination with simvastatin is better than Ruanganjiangzhi capsule and simvastatin alone. Ruanganjiangzhi capsule has no obvious acute toxicity reaction. Ruanganjiangzhi capsule has curative effect in stable angina, and it can improve the clinical symptoms and improve the coronary circulation in patients with coronary heart disease angina and protect myocardial ischemia. Its mechanism may be it could adjust the serum lipid and CRP levels, thus inhibiting atherosclerosis.
