| Objective: To evaluate the differential diagnosis of3.0T dynamiccontrast enhanced imaging MRI, diffusion weighted imaging andcombination of the two methods in the characterization of breast lesion.Materials and Methods: By using8-channel phased-array surfacededicated breast coil and GE Signa HDx3.0T superconducting MRIscanner to study:â‘ there were73cases which were visting doctor at ourhospital between March2012to March2013Including79lesions.All ofthem were females who have received surgery or pathology.â‘¡All lesionswere examined with dynamic contrast enhanced MRI and DWI before thehistopathological demonstration. All of them signed informed consentform.Analysis of the lesion morphology, edge enhancement pattern, curve, using integral method and statistics the sensitivity, specificity, accuracyand positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio of the dynamiccontrast enhanced imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging and combination ofthe two methods in the diagnosis of breast lesions were compared. Results:1The average apparent diffusion coefficient of benign and malignantlesions were (1.49±0.340)×10-3mm2/s and (1.01±0.277)×10-3mm2/s.2The threshold between benign and malignant lesions was1.15×10-3mm2/s by ROC curve. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy andpositive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio of ADC were83.3%ã€83.8%ã€83.5%ã€0.199ã€5.142.3The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and positive likelihoodratio, negative likelihood ratio of dynamic contrast enhanced imaging were97.6%ã€78.4%ã€88.6%ã€0.031ã€4.519.4The combination of dynamic contrast enhanced imaging MRI andDWI-ADC of breast lesions had a sensitivity, specificity, accuracy andpositive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio of92.9%ã€91.9%ã€92.4%ã€0.077ã€11.469.Conclusion: The combination of dynamic contrast enhanced imagingMRI and DWI was more diagnostic validity than only the other diagnosisexamination sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio for the diagnosis of those breast lesions, that isvery helpful for characterization of breast lesions. |
