Observation Of Curative Effect Of Kuijiening By Enema In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis (Large Intestine Damp Heat Syndrome)

Objective:The essay summarizes the understanding of the traditional Chinese medicine to ulcerative colitis and the research progress of modern medicine, and through the research to observe the clinical therapeutic effect of KuiJieNing in the treatment of UC, providing a new idea for the treatment of the disease.Methods:1. Targets in this project were selected from the inpatients and outpatients in Changzhou TCM Hospital affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from January of2013to January of2014. All cases were confirmed by electronic colonoscopy and belonged to Large intestine damp heat Complication as per the syndrome differentiation of TCM. The above-mentioned patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group with20members. There were no significant differences in the gender composition, age, disease course, disease region and seriousness of the disease between the two groups.2.The patients of treatment group were given KuiJieNing by enema combined with Mesalazine, while the patients of control group were asked to only take Mesalazine3times a day,1g for every time, which lasted for eight weeks.3. After the treatment of eight, The clinical observation of the two groups were conducted, including the observation of clinical comprehensive efficiency, TCM syndrome efficacy, therapeutic effect of mucous membrane under endoscope.Results:After the treatment, TCM syndrome efficacy, therapeutic effect of mucous membrane under endoscope and comprehensive efficiency of treatment group are much better than those of control group, with statistic significance (P<0.05).But there were no statistic difference in the improvement of syndrome score between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of KuiJieNing by enema combined with Mesalazine is much better than Mesalazine in curing UC. There is statistic significance in observation of clinical comprehensive effect, TCM syndrome efficacy, the improvement of colonoscopy score and therapeutic effect of mucous membrane under endoscope. And the security of treatment group is much better, fully shows the characteristics and advantages of Chinese traditional medicine.
